I just came from the cigar lounge about 5 minutes ago today i the time is 11:14 pm January 31st 2025 we encountered a bartender by the name of Erica she had twists brown and she had it pulled up and the back was hanging down first got there I assumed the service was going to be nice because I've been here before but I brought my boyfriend with me he flew in from Louisiana and he heard a lot about it I want him to have the experience that I had when I first went but it was another bartender by the name of Erica, service was not good at all.. she did not check on use period she Didn't even ask if we wanted some water or what do we need a refill on wine or do you want something else like she just didn't give a damn she was too busy in these old man face smiling and grinning damn her customers. I had to ask for a to go box we had to ask for a Bud light because she was at the end of the bar chit chatting with some older gentleman it was no type of courtesy or communication on her part. To me and my man . I was very disappointed because like I stated before when I first came the bartender was totally different she was more mature bartenders behind that bar were young and on something different I want back I have friends that wanted to come and experience the bar but I've already told them don't bother they're from Ghana and some from California we're just going to find another cigar bar to go to. Moving forward you guys need to pick better bartenders that's more experience but sure and know how to...
Read moreI was passing through Georgia on my way back home from watching my son compete in a college track meet in Birmingham, Al. going home to Orlando, Fl. We stopped to stay over night in a hotel. I was looking for a place to eat on a Sunday night and it was about 9:00pm so most places were closing. I saw a place that was packed with cars so I turned around and came back figuring anywhere that packed has to be good. Arias cigars is very unique in that the atmosphere was very lively and good fun. I might ad I was the only white person in a packed place and was made to feel very comfortable. I had a mahi mahi blackened fish sandwich that was great. I finished with bourbon manhattans with a Patron Anniversario Madura cigar to top off the evening! Their Tobacconist, Mr. Block knew his inventory very well and kept close watch to make sure the guest were safe and comfortable! The manager stopped by make sure I was being taken care of.The bar was a little slow because of the amount of patrons attending to watch the football playoff games. I would add a second bartender for nights you know are going to be that popular. Overall I will continue to make Arias Cigars my stop when going to Memphis and coming back home to Orlando, Fl. I rate them...
Read moreTo say Acere is like Cheers would be an understatement. I started attending Acere around the Feb/March of 2019. BT and Biggs welcomed me from the start and it's been like home ever since. As covid grew and Douglas county became one of the last to shutdown, I found myself there many weeks almost every night. Now mind you I lived 40 minutes away but it was worth the drive. BT and Biggs are very knowledgeable about cigars, and I've seen the humidor expand sometimes solely based on the wishes of some of the "Regulars". Because of the Home that Acere has become, I've celebrated friends' birthdays, seen a Marine celebration and had some of the best times with an awesome group of Men. BT also opened his doors to weekly a podcast that started from just a group of us discussing issues in the Black community. I've also been able to see the support they've shown to other Black owned cigar lounges in Atlanta. I've recently had to move away but I know I still have a home at Acere. If you're ever in Lithia Springs, hell even if you're not, do yourself a favor and stop in to Acere. From the food, service, drinks, cigars and most importantly the Vibe, you won't regret it. Tell em...
