Food Depot — Local services in Lithia Springs

I used to shop here fairly regularly, but not anymore. Apparently, Food Depot's policy is to insult the integrity of their customers and treat them as criminals by default, by requiring shoppers to leave their backpacks at the counter or outside. If this is such a high-crime area that you have to suspect all of your shoppers of thievery, why would I leave my belongings outside on my motorcycle, or with your staff, unattended? Instead of treating us like we're already suspects in a crime, how about you have your staff, who spend so much time standing around and chatting up front, walk the aisles and keep an eye on your precious merchandise? You may think that treating shoppers the way you did me will somehow save you money in lost revenue, but it cost you way more in reputation and the loss of the patronage of people who actually have integrity, and won't have it impugned by the likes of you. There are plenty of other places to shop that will actually treat me as an honest citizen by default, and not shake me down like I'm some dirtbag. I just went here to purchase ground sausage for breakfast there is no thawed out sausage in the entire store and then when I approached management instead of talking to me he said another worker to tell me that it came in frozen and they had nothing to do with it the management is awful at this location you charge a 10% up charge on everything including food stamps item but you don’t have the common decency to come talk to one of the customers who has a question very rude very unprofessional. If you’re going to have the rest of your meat thawed out and ready to cook you should do the same with ground pork products it is very frustrating trying to feed your family with frozen food that you shouldn’t have to unthaw. I love shopping in this store but they don't have anything such as certain foods and I've been applying for a job there three days ago for baggers position I didn't see the bagger position maybe they didn't put it on there yet so I've applied in the stocking position and left a note on the application saying that I've applied for bagger position the manager have open.
