Save this post for a fun summer day trip! 🌳 Tree House of Lititz is a must do in the Lancaster/Hershey area this summer! 🍫 This one has been on my list for a while and on our recent trip to @hersheypark we spent a day exploring the area playgrounds. 🚪 The playground has one entrance/exit which I love! Easy to keep an eye on multiple kids. 👶 There is a completely enclosed section for little ones including an area perfect to let crawlers or new walkers roam, with bench seating for parents. 🐒 If your kids love to climb, there are so many options here! ☀️ There is no shade. Pack the sunscreen or plan for early AM or late PM visits. ♿️ While some sections had accessible areas, this was one of the less accessible parks we have visited in a while. 🚗 Parking is plentiful and close to the playground. 🚽 There is a porta-potty on site We visited two other playgrounds in the area that we will be posting about soon! Be sure to like and follow @thefourmillionmilefamily for all the details! #playground #lancasterpa #summerbucketlist #visitpa #njmom #daytrip #weekendgetaway

This playground is tops! We traveled all the way from north Lebanon County (1hr drive) to come and that was well worth it. We had 6 children playing for 2 hours here they loved it. Most of it is made from poly which will not give splinters. The design was well thought through. The slides are stainless steel. There were probably 50 children total here at one time but there was plenty of space for more. I highly recommend this place to let your children run off some energy. And the best part is that it is FREE.

The Treehouse playground is well worth traveling an hour for. I live in Lancaster City and have enjoyed taking my family here many times. There's plenty of space for children to play, the playground has so many safety features so you do not have to worry about your children getting to hurt. And there are many other parents and caregivers to interact with, and places for the adults to sit and enjoy as well.

What a huge & beautiful park! My grandkids didn't know which say to go it was so big! They wanted to take it all in at once! There was unusual equipment to play on & one for bigger kids as well as toddlers ! Even a section for babies to crawl safely! It's mostly enclosed with fencing & the entry is designed that you just don't walk straight out. Making a lil hidden from little ones whom might see it at as "a way out!" The only thing was there wasn't much of a breeze due to the fence pickets being so close together. Therefore it got pretty warm. Which I get why they need to be. Oh & the entire area was covered in the rubber stuff. Very nice to walk on & you can take kids right after a rain & not worry about it being muddy! It's tops to me & my grandchildren have named it the best...

Very nice park, however there are some problems. Today when visiting the bathrooms were closed. They had two portable toilets available. The larger handicapped one was out of toilet tissue and the lock on the door was inoperable. This made if quite difficult for a few of the visitors who were in wheelchairs.

The other problem was there is evidently nobody policing the park for problems. Today someone had a Non-medical dog with them, which is clearly prohibited on the signage. The small terroir type dog was scampering about, its leash getting entangled and causing people to trip over the leash. Also my grandchild with me is terrified of dogs. It made our visit...

Good playground with alot of fun stuff but like alot of small town playgrounds there's always the regular parents and kids stinking up the place , hog up all the shaded seats and let there kids roam free to do whatever they want while they sit there and have a chat club, the problem with that isn't safety (there's only one exit and that's near the seats) but they aren't around to tell there kids to be mindful of other kids wanting to play safely in a certain area or take a turn on a slide or swing. All in all a great place if it's not crowded , just expect to talk to the other peoples children for them because a lot of the parents probably aren't around to...
