Nightmare on Little Elm St Haunted House — Attraction in Little Elm

In fairness, I am very appreciative of all the hard work that is put into this and that the fact that it is close and in our community is great! At the same time, I want to be honest about the experience. 1. The setup up is in the homeowner’s garage. So you are literally walking through only the garage. The experience lasts about 3 minutes total. The cost is $20 or $25 Now, inside the garage, it is well set up, and there will be at least two (2) people that will jump out and try and scare you - awesome! The cost is just not commensurate with the experience you get. I know electricity costs a lot, and I'm sure there are other relevant expenses, but $20 is steep. Perhaps $10 or $12 would be more appropriate because you can go to another haunted house for an extra $15 for a 30 - 45 min experience. Regardless, thanks for all the effort put...

This is an overpriced 10 minute animatronic display. And if you’re into that, cool. Not a haunted house. A group of 6 of us came in here last Halloween & we were disappointed. And while many from my party did post an accurate review of their experience, they are all mysteriously missing from the reviews listed here. Mind you, they provided a review of their experience, not a critique on the displays. At the time, the owner sent me multiple unprofessional emails about said reviews since I had purchased online & therefore he had my email address. His emails were borderline harassment & I personally had not even posted a review at that time. He took those reviews so personally it really took away any credibility he had as a professional. $20 per person, are you kidding me? I could walk through Spirit Halloween for the same experience.

Halloween Edit: came back by the house trick or treating, this guy paywalled the candy. No candy for kids unless you paid $25 at the door. Pure, unbridled greed.

I think it's also worth pointing out the noticeable number of negative reviews that were taken down from here. Any remaining negative reviews are met with petty backlash from the owner. His own response to my review has been edited since posting. There's also a suspicious number of deleted comments on other social media reviews 🤔

Save your money, skip this overpriced 10 minute experience, attend some of the other haunted homes in the area, many donate all proceeds to charity. Pass on the "privilege" of wandering through someone's overly...
