This is my second time coming and I won’t be back. This place lacks integrity and they are extremely pushy and seems like they don’t grasp simple concepts.
I would say be cautious of the good reviews praising this place. The pictures posted makes everything seem spacious and like the kids have options but they really don’t.
This place is newly built but the cleanliness is not up to par. When I sat down, it was food and hair on the table which lets me know they didn’t clean or mop at closing because I came here at 9:00am sharp. That’s nasty. The man that works in the front kept coughing and sneezing without covering his mouth. When I went to the potty to change my son’s diaper, there was a poop streak on the toilet and the floor smelled like pee. Keep in mind, I came here when they first opened and their bathroom was filthy.
This place could have more fun things to do because your kid will be bored fast because it’s small and it’s really not much for them to do besides go up and down a slide, pretend to fix a car and a nasty ball pit honestly. My kids were bored 30 mins in.
I don’t like the fact that they charge for two hours or an all day pass. This is the only place that I know that charges you for a two hours instead of giving you the option of one hour, or two hour, which is a rip off.
I don’t like the fact that the man in the front kept asking me to pay for my youngest child after I explicitly stated that he won’t be playing because he can’t walk and he’s going to be with me. I never let my baby play because he’s to small and can’t play like my 3& 5year old.
Each and every time I come, the same guy in the front keeps telling me that as long as the child is one, I would have to pay AFTER I ALREADY TOLD HIM MY CHILD WONT BE PLAYING. ITS LIKE I WAS TALKING TO MYSELF. After I paid for my two girls, he told me AGAIN, if my son plays, I would have to pay (which is common sense) but I told the man MULTIPLE times that he wouldn’t.
This place seems pushy for money and it’s not that serious. They care more about numbers than cleanliness imo. If you ask me, it should’ve been free because it was dirty.
Next time, I will just stay taking my kids to Prosper playhouse because these people seem to be illiterate and have no common sense. Nobody wants to be harassed over 15.00 for a child to play. Yall don’t have to worry about me. Add more fun things because this vibe is just like peek n play. They charge similar with little to nothing for the kids to do. This place...
Read moreWe’re so happy to have a Cheerland closer to us in Little Elm! We’ve been twice since it opened, and overall, it’s been clean, tidy, and a fun spot for our 2-year-old.
We feel it’s definitely best suited for kids under 6. There’s a great variety of play options—from big and small slides to imaginative play areas like a kitchen and food market. That said, it would be helpful if the staff did a better job limiting entry for older kids (6–7+) as we have seen a couple of kids over 7 unintentionally overwhelm and come close to knocking over the little ones, especially toddlers.
Parents should know that both kids and adults are required to wear socks in the play area, even in the bathrooms—which could use more frequent cleaning given the sock-only rule. Also, while there were three staff members at the front desk, it felt like some of that team could be better utilized to help with tidying and keeping things fresh during busy hours.
A nice upgrade would be a live occupancy tracker so parents can plan around peak times, or even a cap on how many kids can play at once to help keep it safer and more enjoyable for everyone.
All in all, it’s a welcome addition to the area, and our toddler absolutely loves it. Looking forward to seeing how it...
Read moreI recently took my child to Cheerland Play and Party, while we had a great time and enjoyed the activities, I was disappointed by an incident that occurred during our visit. The facility was bustling with families and children, and it was concerning to see that the front desk was left completely unattended by two workers who stepped away for a smoke break, just a short distance from the entrance.
I completely understand that employees need their breaks, but I believe it’s essential for them to be mindful of their surroundings, especially in an environment focused on children. It felt unprofessional and inappropriate to see them smoking so close to the front door, particularly while still wearing their work vests.
In my opinion, if they needed to take a break, it would have been more appropriate for them to remove their vests, follow local ordinances and be at least 30 feet from an operating door as required by denton county, and most importantly ensure that the front desk was adequately staffed.
While my child had a lot of fun, this experience has made us reconsider returning. I hope the management addresses this issue to maintain a safe and professional environment for all guests...
