Hair YES, lashes NO. I get my hair styled by Bradley. He is awesome. He has been my stylist since I moved here in 2022. I always get compliments on my hair after I see him. Definitely recommend.

I got my lashes done right before Thanksgiving. I wanted them for my 50th bday on the 30th. It's a big deal. I used to get my lashes done in San Diego. Full was $100. I got a consult , to choose lashes from a book, no issues with eyes stinging. I knew they were great because I loved them and always received compliments. They lasted about 6 weeks. The person had years of experience.

I went here because I trusted I would get top quality. There was no consult (regardless of price, a consultation should be standard). They have one lash type. My eye stung for over half the session (it should never be painful). There was no product to buy to care for my lashes (after researching, other salons charging this much give you a care kit for free). I didn't receive care instructions (should be standard whether you've had your lashes done somewhere else or not). When I saw them I was shocked and disappointed. The girl said they would look better as they fall out. What??? I paid $240, yes you read that right $240 for this. Your telling me they won't look good until they fall out ? She also told me they only last 2-4 weeks (lashes can last up to six weeks depending on the technician, environment, products, genetics & care. Most people come in for a touch up between 2-4 weeks). Total scam. Ridiculous. My left eye already had half fall out (See pics). It has been 1.5 weeks. It looks awful. I bought care products on my own. I don't wear eye makeup and I'm very careful. Great way to bring in my 50th. They text me to see if I would recommend them and when I responded the quality wasn't there I was ignored. I probably would not have left this review had they responded to my concern in the first place. If Brad wasn't there I would go someplace else. But he is amazing and really nice. Oh and I haven't had ONE compliment on my lashes. Steer clear if you want quality lashes and a pain free session.

I should also point out I thought they would look better when they fall out like she said. I felt bad that she felt bad so I told her I loved them. You couldn't see them that well when I wore my glasses. So they didn't look too bad. It never happened. She was nice but not worth $240. Luckily I can wear glasses instead of contacts so it helps hide them somewhat.

Update : The owner called me and offered to give me my money back. I asked if I could get a credit towards my hair which he did. I appreciate his help. I am keeping this review up because I think it's important for anyone looking to get their lashes done. The highest price does not equal the best service. I trusted them even though there were red flags. I should have done my research and trusted...

Beautiful salon. Friendly staff. Professional atmosphere. However, their mark-up is absolutely outrageous and my first and last experience here was markedly uncomfortable. I went in for a hair extensions consultation that I was told was free. Upon my arrival, the host put a gown over me, which I found strange considering I was only going in for a consult. I couldn’t help but wonder if they were trying to shield their clientele from seeing me. Nothing too damning so far. My consultant, Nancy, arrived and immediately pondered why a gown had been placed over me, affirming my curiosity. My consultation consisted of Nancy scrolling through her phone and showing me pics of different extensions. This process was definitely not very concise as she often would scroll for minutes to find what she was looking for. Again, nothing too damning, but then my quote comes in. I’m fairly unfamiliar with extensions at this point but this girl was asking for outrageous prices. Maybe that’s the way it is. But then Nancy stated that I owed 60$ for the consultation. When I explained to her that the consult was explained to me as being free she simply changed the price to 40 and explained that the price was bc of “all the work she had to do” - e.g., scroll through her phone distractedly and without organization to show me a handful of pics. Anyways, I paid the 40 and went on my way. Over the next two weeks I gathered several more quotes on extensions. Every consult I went to was free and DRASTICALLY cheaper than what was offered by Nancy. And this was for the EXACT same extensions. Nancy quoted me for great lengths and perfectress brand extensions. Her great lengths quote was 2,700 for 18” extensions and she told me it would take 10-12 hours of labor. For perfectress, she quoted me at 1,400 and claimed that I would have to come in every 3 months to get maintenance on them and that this would cost 4 or 500 dollars. I am now wearing 18” great lengths extensions that I got from Harrington and company in Conway. They were nearly a 1,000 dollars cheaper and they might’ve taken 3 hours to put in. Also, the perfectress quote I received from a different salon was half of what Nancy’s was and didn’t come with some silly $500 quarterly maintenance plan. Needless to say, this behavior revealed an avarice in studio 2121 and I felt taken advantage of....

I came to Studio 2121 because it had great reviews and the previous stylist I used messed up the cut on my hair. I wanted to make sure I went to a nice salon once quarantine lifted so I could get it fixed. My stylist overall did a nice job, but it was NOT worth over $400.

I visited twice within a couple days. After my initial color and cut I thought the toner in my hair was too bright and the cut too severe (I asked her to do a soft blunt cut with a few layers and just felt it needed more layers). The morning after I got my hair done, I asked if we could re-tone it and was told it would be an easy fix. I came back in and asked also if we could add some extra layers into the style. Again, my stylist did a nice job fixing both.

However, I was charged an additional $50 for a blow dry upon checking out. When I asked if I could get my hair re-toned, I wasn't informed of this. I also had to have it dried to make sure I liked the new toner, so it doesn't make much sense to me why I would be charged for it. Since I had just gotten my hair done the day before, I would think it would just be good customer service to fix it the couple of things I didn't like. It's not like I was asking for a complete redo. At the very least, I feel like they should have been up front about the charge.

For such a high-end salon, I just expected more. Once I washed/dried and styled my hair on my own, I have found pieces where there are literal dots of blonde that looks like they were accidentally placed there and other strands are very choppy with the color - you can distinctly see the lines between a few different shades of blonde. Thankfully these are underneath and you can't see it when it's all down, but again definitely not worth $300 + $50 to get the toner fixed, plus two 20% tips. All in all a little over $400 for hair that I like just okay.
