Wish it were possible to leave minus (-) stars. Horrible experience. Rude, insulting, incompetent, ignorant staff.
When you bring items in to sell during the hours/days for their advertised "vendors buying experience" they verbally attack in twos like hyenas....to both distract you while you are unpacking and to attempt to humiliate and belittle with words like "you'll never get that price here" and "well, I'm used to the low prices at garage sales and estate sales" demanding over and over while interrupting to know where an antique or vintage piece is signed. Making remarks implying that you don't know what you are selling or where it came from.... even demanding to see written appraisals !
I had only 12 items which were carefully packed in 2 totes, yet the staff could not even accommodate me, as they previously promised, with a table to unpack the items on. While I brought 2 totes in from my car (per their rules) they gave some unpleasant man two thirds of the folding table I was assigned to, so he could display and hawk his box of dismal, plastic record albums in a grocery box.
In order to participate in their "sale", you must fill out a one page form with personal information and show picture ID. Their presumption as well as attitude is that you may be a thief. As I waited in line to get the necessary form, the staff workers took 2 people who cut in front of me. Nice. When I finally made it to the counter, the staff member sighed loudly and said I had to go to the other side (nowhere is that posted). She was visibly miffed, annoyed and not the least bit pleasant. After completing the form, I was totally ignored. The original staff member yelled "someone come and complete and verify this ID." 10 minutes later, no one had come to verify my form and my drivers license.
This is possibly the largest JUNK ITEM mall under one roof in Denver.

Read moreThese people were very rude! Didnt greet my sister and i when we past by counters but they sure did let us know that they acknoweleged us as we broused around!? I'm a collector of many thing's and i buy what i like and what i want! And the manager/ owner? Approached us after it was obvious he was following us around the store...and not to help us but he was literaly following us like we were going to steal something in front of him and he wanted to make sure he caught us red handed! LOL! it wasnt a very nice comfortable atmosphere! Some of the vendors that sale were posing as customers as well...I guess they are a big group of stereo-type of old nerds that wanted to be ..the Top flight security and never made the security team? These people clearly stereo typed my sister and i....from the time we entered to the time we left...and 1 more thing the "manager" pulled some jewelery out of a case for me...that i asked to see...and a woman asked him for help..and he walked off with her and the woman asked him questions about some questions about some items in a display case ...and instead of taking my item to the front...he simply had the item that i wanted to purchase in his hand the whole time the woman asked him question after question...so i had to rudely interupt there conversation so that i could get out of the heavly secured / racist / stereo typing store! I have been to hundreds of Antique stores and have never experience the actual employees and or staff so into the loss and prevention thing...that i think i will go to the media..and maybe they will have someone go in with a hidden camera? That will put some vic's on them old ass's ...people are people dont judge anyone ...because that person may save your life 1 day!! You never know!! ...
Read moreThe Colorado Antique Gallery is quite the place! With over 300 vendor's booths, the Gallery is ginormous! With asile after aslie of all the antique knick-knack genres, one could easily get lost in the discovery of countless collection hobbies. I came in here looking for specific items which put me on the hunt for several hours without me even recognizing the passage of time. The Gallery, rather the antique mall, is fairly organized. With over 300 vendors selling things, one must have a good system and they do. Firstly, if there's need to have access to any of the locked cases, all that's needed is to ask one of the friendly staff members, of which there are many. They come to unlock said case and take the item of interest to the front counter to await purchase. This can be done with multiple cases. If you did most of your browsing prior to asking the staff member to help you, you can then proceed to collect your items all at once. In my case, I was looking for specific items and needed help or recommendations where to look, and the staff were very helpful. Not too mention, I had the chance to ask some of the vendors themselves, who can sometimes be found in the mall, if they knew of any of the items or had anything applicable to me. I had a great experience at this place and strongly recommend that you take care of your...
