I want to begin by saying I have a 1989 Rolex Datejust and I am the original owner. I wear my watch day and night. The only time it comes off is shower/bath times. My watch ran great for the first 10-15 years of it’s life, maybe first 20 years as Rolex watches do but as it got older this watch has not run correctly for many many years. It has been in for servicing here in Colorado Springs (since we have a Rolex repair company here and was also serviced/repaired once by a watch company in Denver) it’s servicing schedule has been approx every 5 -10 years or as needed. In the beginning all was fine but after awhile it stopped running correctly after being serviced. I was told it had parts replaced, it was serviced and cleaned but when I picked it up the watch would stop running in a few days and I would have to re-set it and manually re-wind my watch. I took the watch back to both shops several times over the years and everytime I picked it up it ran fine for a few days…then stopped and would have to manually re-wind and re-set it once again. A couple years back this watch was back and forth in the shop almost an entire year. Again, each time I picked it up same thing would happen. Run fine for days, then stop and I would manually re wind and re-set it. Then I was given a watch winder. I put it on the watch winder nightly and that was fine for awhile until I started to wear the watch normally again..day and night…then watch stopped would not keep time and back to re-winding and re-setting. I was ready to completely give up on this watch. I started to look for a new 26mm datejust watch with diamond dial but couldn’t find a new replacement since they quit making this watch in 2015. I did not want to purchase a used watch since I have one of those! Now Rolex has new 28mm datejust watches but I do not like the 28mm size for my wrist. Too big for me. I did some research and found an Authorized Rolex Repair in Denver, William Jewelers so I called called and spoke to Cory Schell. Cory said bring it in and he certainly will take a look at it. Cory replaced parts with genuine Rolex parts, repaired the watch, did what was needed to get this watch running perfectly again and I now have a Rolex watch that runs spot on day and night, has not been on the watch winder nor has it been manually wound or re-set since I brought it home. I have my original 1989 datejust watch that I can keep for the rest of my life that has grown old with over the years that I absolutely LOVE and can be passed down later on. For everyone out there that owns a Rolex that doesn’t perform up to Rolex standards ..mis performs….please call Cory at Williams Jewelers and give Cory a try. Don’t give up on your watch like I almost did…..call Cory. He is the best in the business and since I am an owner of a 1989 Rolex that runs perfectly….I am one that knows. Cory is the best and I wish I could give him a hundred stars. Thank you Cory and you will see me again when it’s time for watch maintenance. 5 years from now with my watch. My girlfriend and I live just down the street from Williams, so we decided to go there to look at engagement rings. We had a good experience there as we were helped by Jack. He was patient and did a good job at explaining all the details, as he knew it was all fairly new to the both us. Overall, the experience in the store was positive with Jack.

I emailed him a week later asking to schedule an appointment to design her ring. He got back to me four business days later with some times and I sent him my availability. I did not get a response and had to send him another email due my schedule changing (although it was only two business days by then and not his fault, as my schedule changes frequently.) We then met and he said he’d get back to me within a week for the ring design.

I did not hear back from Jack at all. I sent him a follow-up email a month after we met asking for an update and still did not hear back. Over another week passed and I emailed the store (still had not gotten a response from Jack yet) to inform them of what happened and that I was going to go elsewhere so they could stop the process on their end. I still have not heard back from the store nor from Jack. I then emailed another store and had an immediate response and a design sent within a couple business days.

As previously stated, we had a great experience in the store. But, the consistent lack of communication was not impressive. If there were delays in the process, at least some communication would have been nice. I’m not asking for a 24-72 hour response, but to go almost a month and a half with no contact and me sending follow-up emails with no response did not make me feel very valued.

If I could do 2.5, I would. But because Jack helped us so much the first day and because they’re a family owned...

I came in to the store in late January 2024 to look at Rolex Datejust options as I was desperately ready for an upgrade. Brittany kindly greeted me the moment I walked in the door and offered her professional guidance to assist me in finding the exact watch I was looking for. She did a great job explaining the different types of Rolex’s as well as the general ordering/delivery process for new timepieces. Originally I was quoted 6 to 12 months for my selected Rolex to be delivered to the store. After just 3 months from the order date I received a nice text from Brittany letting me know that the Rolex confirmed by order and should be in within 4 to 6 weeks. I was SO excited to hear that my watch was coming in much earlier than expected. Less than a week later from her confirmation text, Brittany called to tell me that she had good news in that the watch has arrived (late April 2024). I was ecstatic! I immediately went in to the store the same day as the call to pick my watch up. The pickup process was so smooth and very informative. Williams Jewelerys will truly treat you like royalty and leave you with such a good “taste in your mouth”. Based on how great my experience was with Williams Jewelers and Brittany, I will certainly be returning in the near future for other pieces. I’ve been to many other jewelers across the country and none have come close to the caliber of Williams. This place rocks! Thanks...
