I used to travel 40 minutes by Lyft just to get my nails done by Misa because I was able to book for nails that tend to be more elaborate. I almost always loved the sets but eventually stopped making the trip because of the cost of Lyfts. Yesterday I was scheduled to get a set done at 11 in the morning with her, which she confirmed a week prior. This would be my first time getting a set in years, and was a set I chose for a big event I had planned last night. I wanted to ensure that my set looked as new as possible for it, and had no problem being dropped off so far because I trusted that the work would be worth the trip. Unfortunately, I arrived to the shop and was greeted by a different tech who asked who my appointment was with and proceeded to call Misa. After some dialogue between the two, the tech asked if I could return in an hour. This was all I was looking forward to all week and the whole point of me traveling so far was because I trusted that I would get good service and leave happy with my set. I had plans lined up all day to ensure the event was successful but reluctantly agreed. After having to call my ride back to the shop, it was evident that it would be a waste to drive to aurora just to drive back to Littleton so I texted Misa to let her know that I wouldn’t make it back. I didn’t get a response. No apology for the inconvenience or unprofessionalism. No offer to reschedule. Not even an “okay”. As someone who is willing to go out of their way because they believe in your talent , to not even be acknowledged after not showing up to an appointment you booked was extremely disheartening. I don’t plan on returning, this review is more so just to hopefully show them the importance of customer service so that they don’t lose more customers in the future. I know I’m not the only girl who takes their nails seriously, and nothing is cheap these days, but I was willing to pay Misa pretty much anything and take that drive because I was really looking forward to that set. However, this experience was disappointing enough to know that as much as I have loved some of the sets she’s done prior, I don’t feel appreciated as a client in the slightest.. and that is more important to me than anything. I hope they handle these types of situations better...
Read moreHorrible customer service…I won’t be going back: I was referred here by someone. I called on Wednesday 12/22 and inquired about scheduling an appointment meant for a mani pedi. I was given an appointment at 12:00pm on Friday 12/24 and I made sure to confirm that my appointment was for a full set and regular pedicure which the person on the other line repeated. I was asked for my name and phone number which I provided. On the day of my appointment when I arrived I told the people at the front my name and told them I ad an appointment for a manicure and pedicure but there seemed to be a confusion about my appointment, but I guess it was sorted out because I was told to sit at the nail station. I was a little confused because normally when I go for a mani pedicure the pedicure is done fort but I assumed that maybe they did things differently here. When I sat down, I once again repeated to my nail tech that my appointment was for a full set and pedicure to which she said yes. Ok fast forward, my nail tech didn’t attempt to make conversation but rather spoke to her colleagues which is fine, speaking to your customers is not a requirement, but the nail salons I’ve been to usually my nail techs at least attempt to make conversation especially with the new customers. When she finished with my nails she told me to go and wash my hands. When I finished I was that she was in front of the cash register. So I grabbed my things and followed her. She told me that my nails were $75 and I inquired about my pedicure. To which she turned to her colleague and said something then told me that my appointment was only for a full set. So I told her but when I called I booked a manicure and pedicure and that was confirmed, and when I walked in I stated that I had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure and when I sat in front of her I once again repeated that my appointment was for a manicure and pedicure to which she replied yes before she started on my nails. She just stared at me, so I said it’s fine, paid my bill, gave her a tip and walked out. From the time I walked in I felt unwelcome. I wasn’t even offered lotion after I washed my hands and left with dry ashy hands. The nails look nice but I don’t think they...
Read moreI have been coming here for years. I usually get acrylic but I have been growing my real nails. This is the longest they have ever been. I came to get a regular gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was messy but i don’t mind much, I cared more about my manicure. She took the previous gel off my nails and filed the ones on my right hand. She did cut them a tiny bit bc I asked her to but they were still long. She chipped a corner of my thumb nail and at this point had cut me a few times so I asked her to just do the gel soak off, I didn’t want the manicure anymore. The lady next to her translated for her and she asked me why. I told her I just want the soak off. The nail tech doing my nails then pointed at my thumb on my left hand and I told her to just leave that nail, bc it was shorter than the rest as it had broken prior to my appointment. She then proceeded to cut my pointer and middle finger nails to almost nothing. Again, this is the longest my nails have ever been. I immediately asked her to stop and told her I didn’t want them cut. She didn’t speak English which I don’t mind, but she had to keep asking the nail tech next to her to translate. I told the nail tech translating that I didn’t want them short and she brought over someone else. At this point I’m embarrassed bc it felt like I was making a scene and people were staring but all I wanted at that point was to leave and pay for the pedicure and soak off. The lady who came over then told me that she cut them because I told her I wanted my nails as short as my thumb nail. I never said this, and I think the main problem was the language barrier. Why would I want all the nails on my left hand short when all the nails on my right hand are long? I again told her I just want to leave and pay and that’s when I paid and left. For reference, my pinky and ring finger are how long ALL my nails were before this appointment. And my pointer and middle finger are how short...
