On our first visit to this charming establishment, my family and I were filled with anticipation. The interior was aesthetically pleasing, and the warm ambiance was evident in the decorations. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a not so friendly attitude, as we were unfamiliar with the menu. When we inquired about the specific ingredients in certain dishes, the staff responded in a manner that seemed condescending, treating us as if we were incapable of understanding. We ordered an avocado smoothie, requesting that it be prepared without honey due to my mother’s diabetes. However, the staff expressed displeasure when we asked for honey on the side. They responded, “Why don’t you want honey inside? I guess we can do that?” Our entire experience was marred by this incident. While we waited for our food, other customers were greeted with kindness and friendliness. Upon returning home, my toddler eagerly tried the cheese sticks. Unfortunately, she began gagging and spit out the food, revealing hair inside. This discovery caused us significant disgust, as we were horrified to find hair in our food. Consequently, we decided to discontinue consuming the remaining meal.

Hello, Ordered online. Unfortunately first and last time here. A Google rating for this place online seems fake, there is no way the place can be above 4 stars with such a bad quality food. All three plates came with rice which is the worst I have ever tasted. Hummus was fine. Trout was officially the worst I have tried in my life. All plates had a lot of excessive charcoal inside which makes sense - as I was picking food up I glanced at the kitchen behind cashier and it definitely was not a clean place. 1.5 stars out of 5 would be waaaaay more appropriate for experience at Damascus restaurant today. Online customer's who trust online ratings beware.

Consistently delicious all these years. The Syrian cuisine is hands down the best in all of the Denver metro. The baba ghanoush is smoky and fresh always. The best baba I've had anywhere. The nutty hummus is outstanding. Lamb kabobs with rice and hummus and pita was spectacular and wonderfully spiced. The entrees are a perfect blend of spice and flavor, each dish having multiple flavors that work well together. Got some lentil soup, another appetizer Baba ghanoush and baklava to-go. Quick service. Friendly staff. Quaint decor. Plenty of seating. You cannot beat this local business. Visit and eat and have things catered. You'll be glad you did.

I will start by saying the staff was friendly, friendly but not attentive. Unfortunately nice doesn't always mean capable. We were greeted and seated the room had about 4 or 5 other full tables. We were given water and never asked what we wanted to drink. She ran around us tending to everyone else but us, we felt invisible. It was close to 15 to 20 minutes before she returned to our table to take our order, still didn't ask about drinks. We start by ordering 2 cokes and an ice tea followed immediately by our food order. We order 1 appetizer and 4 sandwiches with fries. We had to ask about our drinks after waiting again for quite a while, she brings two very watered downed cokes and leaves. People who came in after us are getting food before us. After about 40minutes we get fries delivered to the table nothing else. Five minutes or so later the sandwiches come out, still no appetizer or tea. Nearly done eating our mediocre Mediterranean sandwiches she finally brings the tea which we refuse at this point since we are about done and just want to leave. I ask her to just cancel the appetizer we never got. We were there for 1hr 15min for 4 sandwiches 3 orders of fries and 2 watery cokes. They comped us the 2 cokes. Mall food court Mediterranean is better than this place. Oh and bring a jacket this place is freezing in the evening. For their sake I hope it was just an off day, but I won't...

A friend orders from this place for lunch sometimes, and he recommended it to us. So, we decided to try it for dinner. The establishment on the inside is a little on the dingy side. We were the only guests. It wasn't really a vibe, so we ordered to-go. The tables were clean and the dining area is a nice space. It just needs a facelift. There is a dessert cooler with the lights off and desserts in there that look like they have been there for a long time. My suggestion- repair the cooler and make it presentable. The gentleman working there greeted us and immediately started making our order. It came out really fast. We ordered the hummus dip and a gyro sandwich. Both were good-sized portions. The flavor was also good. The sandwich had nice chunks of cucumber and not too much red onion (I prefer less onions). The chuncks of gyro meat were pretty big, so they fell out of the pita while trying to eat it. It was a tasty sandwich, but just a little hard to eat as a handheld. Overall, we were satisfied. We will try them again. Next time, I'd love to try the chicken shwarma. No photos since we ate it in our car on...
