A fun location for any party interested in collecting some souvenir or article of clothing for a variety of various sci-fi franchises, this is definitely the venue for you. It is not readily visible, but for its unique signage, so any passerby should be watchful for the bright green and fun font above what might be otherwise a forgettable strip mall. Any die-hard fan of Dr. Who or Marvel? This is a place you really ought to consider at least stopping by. For myself, I am a comic collector, and while this store does not offer much in the way of comics or graphic novels, it does certainly offer a plethora of toys and memorabilia to rival any comic convention.
With plentiful parking and ease of access if you are any kind of collector this very well might be the place you seek out. There are toys, statues, magazines, and LPs; trinkets and DVDs I had no idea existed. Perhaps more than all the wares presented are the passionates owners whom do not hesitate, but are happy to take a moment (or perhaps thirty) to discuss some favorite BBC production, the latest Dr. Who incarnation, or what is in store for the MCU. It is the place for anyone who wants to talks to similar souls.
Whether a casual lover of DC or Marvel, or a die-hard fan of Loony Toons I would certainly recommend even a quick stop here. If nothing else, but to appreciate real fandom in the flesh. Easy parking, and uncrowded storefronts, it beats anything I've visited downtown Chicago or in any convention, with superior (albeit similarly expensive)...
Read moreI'm not a mild-mannered news reporter but I am a Superman fan. My Superman comes from the 1980s. The new logo is great but it isn't my Supes. I have looked everywhere for the 1980s Superman pin. I was ecstatic to find it and I ordered it immediately and I needed it overnight so I actually placed it as a pickup order and had a friend stop by. I had read the hours wrong and the store was closed. I apologized to my friend and then I sent an email the next day asking to refund the order as there was no way I could get it. I live really far from this store. There's no way I can get anything through the mail within 3 days. Amazon prime rarely delivers on time. It's delayed by days. After I sent the email explaining my situation, faster than a speeding bullet - this pin showed up at my door. I've never gotten anything overnighted here. EVER. And I wasn't charged shipping. If I was an actual news reporter, I think I might have a lead on a really nice comic book shop owner who really made my day. The selection is really great, especially online. If you need some help with some vintage (though we don't like to call ourselves that) Comics go to this guy. Thanks for being my...
Read moreMy son and I were looking for a Thanos Statue and called many comic book stores in the area and could not find one. We decided to walk into Alien Entertainment and we could not believe we found a Thanos Statue. Since we were already there we also picked up a Kotobukiya Captain America and a marvel legend Captain America. Prices were very reasonable and we were very pleased with our purchase. This is my first Kotobukiya item and I’m glad I picked it up. It looks great, easy to put together and my 4 year old loved it. He put it on his shelf and it looks like a real Marvel Statue, definitely worth picking up. The people who assisted us were very friendly and went out of there way to help us find what we were looking for. They have a big selection of Marvel action figures, DC action figures, Star Wars figures and lots more. Will definitely...
