Lyons Farmette — Attraction in Longmont

Beautiful venue and space for a wedding but horrible staff. When you choose to have a wedding here they assign you with a venue manager to help with planning and day of things. The lady assigned to us, Taylor, was not helpful at all. But that was not even the issue. She was horrible at communicating details and was very rude the day of my wedding. They allowed you to get the the venue at 9 am to start getting ready. I was aware there would be people at the venue for a rehearsal, but they are just on the lawn and do not enter the space and house where you get ready. At 11 am a tour group of 28 people plus a Farmette employee tour the property and enter the house where the entire bridal party is already getting ready. I said they could not enter and the employee said they would be fast. This was so unprofessional, awkward and rude. It was my wedding day and 30 strangers wanted to view the house while I was getting hair and makeup done. They had no respect for customers that had paid a lot of money to rent out the venue. When I brought this issue up later to my venue manager she just said “yeah you should have known about this, we just changed the times.” All I wanted was an apology for the intrusion but instead I get a “I hear you loud and clear.” She did not talk to me for the rest of the day, my wedding day. The Lyons Farmette wedding venue is stunning! My husband and I got married here in October and it was the perfect fall wedding. The grounds are so well maintained and the flower gardens are spectacular and an amazing sunset photo spot. The staff here are wonderful as well and very helpful for making sure the day goes smooth.

The new indoor barn is the perfect infrastructure for indoor receptions. I was able to have an outdoor ceremony, first dances on the patio by the river, followed by dinner in the barn and dancing!

If you are looking for the ultimate stellar team of vendors I can first hand say our florals by Plume & Furrow were talked about by all my wedding guests! Our guests also loved our dinner by Sugar Pine Catering that were displayed on the Harvest Tables available for rent. My wedding coordinator Dahlia Events helped the day run smooth and worked so well with my photographer Tayler Carlisle photography. H&MU by cici - c.artistry was gorgeous and she’s so fun to work alongside. Our dj Jasonic I would highly recommend, he is fun to create with. The Lyons Farmette is BEAUTIFUL! We are so so happy that we got married there! We were looking for a somewhat laid-back, but still beautiful and well-maintained venue for our wedding. We had actually already sort-of-decided on a different venue, but still had our tour booked at Lyons Farmette, and figured we might as well check it out. Within 5 minutes on being on the property, my husband and I both turned to each other and went "this is where we have to get married!" It is such an intimate venue, but there's enough space for a fairly large wedding to not feel crowded or cramped at all. We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding here, and all of our guests raved about it as well!

We also used Farmette Flowers (the on-property florists) for our flowers, and they were absolutely stunning.
