Candyland Park — Attraction in Longwood

Well at least the toilets were replaced in the women's restroom....the men's still have the prison toilets. The sink in the women's restroom leaks all over the floor and barely any water comes out of the prison faucet. They are also so dimly lit it's sad. These are the most disgusting restrooms in all of longwood. The city really does not seem to care. They said it would be updated, they said the concession stand was getting upgraded, they said a lot of things...promises made...promises not kept. Even when new faucets were offered as a donation to the City...still no action. This park is definitely STILL NOT keeping up with the neighboring cities. But, hey doesn't Reiter Park look nice from the city...

They have a good skate park. Once in a while, some pot smoking riffraff will drop in. Language gets a little unfiltered at times. Some parents will let their little ones lose and bury their heads into their phones. It can be dangerous, when the experienced skaters are moving 90 miles an hour and can't see them beyond a hill and can't stop in the air. Not everyone understands the etiquette of skate park rules. That can cause confusion and misunderstandings. Since it's free, it sometimes it gets too crowded. Because of all that, it can be sketchy at times. Pretty decent park/playground for kids. Some of the equipment is a bit cracked or worn out from misuse but it is still a pretty good playground. Just don't expect to see or be able to get ahold of any maintenance workers. My nephew got stung by a bee there once, who had a hive under one of the platforms, but I could not find anyone around to inform. I tried calling them and they did not respond. Luckily they took care of the Beehive afterward, but I got no call after leaving a message and I could not find anyone around that day. On the positive side, though, it is a pretty fun park to...
