I was craving good Colombian food and so glad this place popped on my Google search and I didn't have to go far to get it!
The restaurant is small but very clean and cozy. You can order take out or sit if you wish to dine in. They also offer coffee, pan de bonos, arepas and empanadas to go (of you don't want a full meal).
We dined in and sat at one of the tables. Pretty comfy, clean and a good size.
We were taken care by Valeska and she was very nice, attentive, friendly, courteous and more than happy to answer any questions or make suggestions. Her good energy was contagious and sure made us have a great dining experience.
We ordered a pan de bono, chicken empanada, arepa with morcilla, mini paisita entree, the grilled chicken with sauteed onions, guanabana water and a latte. Every was delicious! Fresh, made to order, tasty, full of flavor and balanced. Everything sure did hit the spot!
I will definitely keep it as one of my go to's and glad we...
Read moreTried this little place on my recent visit to the Orlando area. The bandeja Paisa without a doubt is the best bang for your buck in the menu. You get a considerable amount of rice for the plate. I am a person that eats a lot and I ended up taking some leftovers. But this is a great dish for sharing for 2 people. The best component in this plate is the steak, followed closely by the sausage. If you're a fan of smoked sausages this one is one to try out. My egg yolk was solid, which is a shame but for next time I visit I will ask for it to be sunny side up.
The rest of the party I was with got other items such as Pan De Bono and Buñuelos, I tried them both and my personal opinion is that the pan de bono is better. We had empanadas, one cheese and one beef, the beef one is better but they are good.
Although this is a small venue it has a nice homely feeling, which is helped by the friendliness and attentiveness of the waitresses...
Read moreMy first experience with this place was at the Lake Mary location, which incidentally was on 7/13/24, a now historic day. The food was fairly reasonable and so was the price. So today I was closer to their Longwood location and thought it’d be the same, but unfortunately not, it was disappointing. The “pechuga de pollo a la plancha”, was tasteless and smothered with sweet onions, 🤦🏻♀️which really made the chicken taste strange, and the beans were bland. 2 stars for the portion, which unfortunately was all affected by the overload of sweet onion. Please disclose on the menu about the onions, I didn’t even know I was getting this poured all over my chicken, as it wasn’t in menu description. Nothing wrong with onions, for those who like them on their chicken, but the right type onion and in moderation. Hard to find good Colombian food in Orlando, and...
