Discover a hidden gem near the A-line, where wetlands, native plants, and other wildlife thrive! Walk along the trails, take a moment to relax on a bench, and be in nature. Visit the Nature Center and see taxidermied animals and learn about wildlife in the city, fossils, rocks, insects, plants, and more! Restrooms and parking are available, and the park is open from sunrise to sunset, with gates locked after hours.

Been coming to this park for a bit now and love how animal friendly it is! However I noticed for the first time this poor cat near the south end of the lake. It seems very sickly and weak. Is there a way someone can come help take care of it? Besides just sending it to a shelter? It's young and malnourished. We left it food and water though and it ate/drank almost instantly.

Beautiful park, great place to go for a walk and relax, my boys love to go see the bunnies ... Today we were there sitting on the grass my boys were sitting right next to a bunny watching him eat then a group of kids and adults came and started bothering the bunny they grabbed him and took him on their bike they were all laughing, later we see the bunny again and my boys got near it and we noticed they broke it's foot we believe they did it because my boys were near the bunny earlier and it was fine, we tried looking for help but we couldn't find anyone that works there to help us i also tried calling and no one was answering ... We tried helping the bunny but he was really scared and hurt, he was running away we left him alone we didn't want to stress it more, we had to leave we left heartbroken because we left and we couldn't help the poor bunny ... Please please i hope someone helps the bunny he's s white bunny with blue eyes he's front little hand is broken.... Parents really need to show their kids how...

I love coming to this park because my dog enjoys it so much. He really loves the lil hike trail plus the variety of rabbits there what i don't appreciate is every time i go now i see nothing but dead rabbits. I've seen a crippled small brown Chihuahua and a black small shaggy dog killing all the rabbits . I was able to stop them yesterday from killing a yellow rabbit but I'm pretty sure they came back and eventually got the poor thing. These dogs have collars and owners (I'm pretty sure they're from the houses across the street) I think this park will miss a big part of it if those 2 dogs continue to kill the rabbits. It's very upsetting for someone who loves animals as much as i do. I hope the park really does something...

Recs and park vehicles take up the handicap spots and sleep there. I told a worker if he could please move his work truck because it was reserved for the handicapped and he said he’ll move it in a bit. I said cool and went about my way. He moved it a few minutes later. The other young worker asks me if I was the one in charge of the park, I said no but we can contact someone. Well as they were leaving they took a picture of my license plate for some reason. Why not just take the L and move the work truck? That’s all that was asked and now they’re taking pictures of my car...
