Our visit to Las Islitas went great. They don't sell alcohol but I did see several guests with coolers by their side sipping on cold beer. We ordered the cocktail with shrimp and octopus. It was very tasty and fresh. We also ordered two empanadas de camarón. Also very fresh and tasty. We ordered a lemonade, it was great. Other places sell lemonade on the sweeter side, this one definitely was well balanced. Last thing we ordered was the oysters. We had them prepared with shrimp and octopus. They were also very fresh. Overall a a great place to have food with family and friends. The staff is friendly and everything is made to order. Other comments mention live music but at this time there were no musicos. I would definitely return with more...
Read moreFeels like Mexico. SOLO MARISCOS,. So they only serve seafood and fish dishes which is the theme of the place but we all have kids and maybe that one family member like me that doesn't eat that so they should at least add burgers or something into the mix for us non pescatarians. I still gave 4 stars because my friends enjoyed their dishes but my rice was bland the fries were not good and way overpriced at $5 each for a scoop size. I went on a Sunday so the server was overwhelmed he would come back way beyond requested for extra items. The music was lit. The banda made me feel like I was at a botanero in Nayarit. It's bring your own cooler of whatever 😎 so you can 6ennoy...
Read moreThis place is a CASH ONLY establishment so be prepared if not there is an ATM on site with a scary fee on top of what your financial institution already charges. They also DO NOT serve alcohol but you can always bring your own. That in my opinion is a win because for the price of a six pack from the liquor store you pay for one beer at most places. Food is good I had their coconut shrimp it was bomb, the atmosphere is like being in the flea markets in Mexico. It’s all outdoorsy with limited shelter only thing missing was a live band playing. El pescado sarandeado is also real good highly recommended here. Parking inside is limited but street parking is...
