DOG OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!
My 10 week old (2.8 LB/not bigger than a shoe) puppy was ATTACKED and BIT in the neck by a off leash dog.
The careless dog owner stated that he takes his two rescue dogs (brown Miniture pincers & black/grey chihuahua mix [attacker]) to this park to learn how to socialize with other dogs since they are not trained and don’t get along with other dogs...
Dog owner please remember to
I took my puppy to the emergency room, he is fine but traumatized. My puppy was on a harness+leash so most of the damage was luckily not done to the actual pup (we were away from all dogs having a picnic when the two dogs that we saw from a distance came, the brown minpin was friendly the other one was not).
I will not be pressing charges but keep in mind, if a dog bites/makes another dog bleed and you press charges animal control will take the aggressive dog and put him down, since aggressive dogs are a...
Read moreYou get what you pay for, thats why LA city camps & classes are cheap when compared to for example YMCA or even STAR programs, The counselors are teenagers! Who thought putting 17 or 18 year olds in charge of more than 20 Kindergartners & elementary school kids was a good idea. They have no teaching credentials , the counselors are practical children themselves, and not trained in team building or conflict resolution between young children. The kids constantly bully each other until one of them snaps, we constantly got calls that either our child did something or another child did something to him, ridiculous!!! We never got calls from our child's school or even when he attended STAR camps. It seems the city rather hire cheap teenage labor rather than actual educators or adult counselors , in order to penny pinch, They're piano classes were also a scam ,we signup for about 8 lessons and the instructor missed 2 classes out of 8! She was also either 5 minutes late or wanted to end the lesson 5 minutes early, and that's just for a 25 minute lesson. Stay away from low quality cheviot hills programs , we pay taxes & on top of that pay for the classes, but...

well, at least there were no uniformed firemen acting in an official phlebotomic capacity. there may have been plainclothes firemen acting on some other official business, but my vaccination aspirations were dashed.
that aside, it seemed like a nice recreation center. there was a healthy amount of recreation taking place during my visit. mostly by children and their paid chaperones. these were arranged in colour-coordinated tshirts so as not to be confused and intermixed, which i felt was...
