Okay so I know what you’re thinking. The hotel looks strange. The prices are good but you will give a little for those prices. Overall it’s an easy stay with good customer service. The building has great rooms. Spend a little more for the loft room with spiral staircase like my friends did and you won’t regret. The AC was questionable but stayed no hotter than 74. Overall the location is good enough along with the rate for me to let anything else slide. The rooms also are up to date and have great black out curtains. Located in century city means there is a giant mall 2 mins away, 15 min from Santa Monica pier. Fairly close to Hollywood and Beverly hills and even has a convenient grocery store next door. It does have vallet parking that’s about 22 a night. Ups and downs but definitely good for its value and location

Cons: gap below the door to the room about 1 inch high on one side, shower water made its way from the shower onto the bathroom floor too easily Pros: Came here to get one last good shower before a surgery in a hospital nearby, and was not disappointed with the water pressure! I cracked my neck in the shower because it loosened up my shoulders. When I washed my face it moved parts around like a roller coaster would. They have a bunch of neat furniture and accents that make it feel less stuffy and fancier, too, like buttons that indicate whether you want turnover service and a TV that flips around between the bed and a desk (at least in the small queen room). Parking is almost $40 and valet only, but all the services are 24/7. I might have to find an excuse to stay here again, hopefully not another surgery though!!

We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel. I feel safe in this hotel, and comfortable. The rooms are lovely and clean, (no smell of smokes), the staff are very friendly and helpful always smiling thank u everyone. Today is checkout day I asked if we are able to leave our luggage for a few hours before our flight and it was no problem at all. The location is prime. It is around 10-20mins to Santa Monica beach, universal studios, lax airport, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, walk of fame. Everything is close by. There is Ralph’s grocery store right across the road, and Westfield mall within 10mins walking distance.heads-up the only thing Is there are no bus stops nearby so bring your own car or Uber everywhere.(however that is not the hotels fault). We will definitely be returning in the future thank you.

I was at this hotel with my husband & 7 month old baby FOR 3 HORRIBLE WEEKS due to a gas leak & my relocation company placing me there. THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE STAYED AT IN MY LIFE & HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, if they can even call it that. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!! My review is long & detailed if you have time. If not here's the summary: managers -disrespectful, don't resolve anything & yell at you; all you can eat breakfast is not really all you can eat, just grab & go, stale, artificial, microwaved breakfast; valet will dent your car on purpose & there is no other parking option. Pay $10 more & stay at the far better Courtyard Marriott across the street.

One thing good about this place is the room cleaning is excellent. I've stayed at many hotels in my life (hundreds) and when you stay for a few days they don't clean so thoroughly every day, but here, the lady on my floor (4th) would do an excellent job every day. I used to know her name, but since it's been a few months, I forgot. I stayed Feb 27, 2016 - Mar 17, 2016.

Here are the reason I hate this place: I stayed for 3 weeks & was treated badly from day 1, since I was being housed there on a corporate account & the employees knew I had little choice as to being there vs another hotel. The longer I stayed, the worse it got. -NO PARKING! Parking is valet- they put 2 intentional dents in my car. Since I was there for 3 weeks, I wouldn't tip them every day. Why pay such a high price at a hotel where you are REQUIRED TO VALET PARK? Of course the dents appeared miraculously on my last day, so I couldn't go back and say it was them. FREE BREAKFAST BAR? NOT FOR EVERYONE. If they see you there everyday, the manager (Rozi) will come up to you in front of other guests and tell you that "you are having too much breakfast". I guess since I was there for 3 weeks, even though I would only have breakfast 4 days/week, they got tired of seeing me/husband/baby. The person who gets tired of working & doesn't really want you eating breakfast is the guy that works Saturday/Monday mornings, don't know his name, but he gets what he wants there (since he is best buds or boyfriend of the GM). The young lady there the rest of the mornings (Jessica) is very nice & lets you eat breakfast in peace. The GM (Richard - fake British accent) would come in & take his morning coffee, then walk around my family in circles in order to make us uncomfortable. When you check-in the first day, they tell you that breakfast is complimentary & that you can even take a goodie bag with your left over food to go. NOT TRUE. Take a goodie bag & you will get the GM and assistant manager harassing you. Really not worth it for a 10 cent apple or banana. I have never been so embarrassed in front of people in my life. Everyone was looking at the managers approaching my family. You can keep your cheap artificial breakfasts for yourselves, you cheap hotel! It would have cost them less than $1 a day for us to have breakfast there, but instead they chose to harass us and we didn't have breakfast the last few days we were there. They don't have a kitchen, food was kept in the cleaning closet (with cleaning supplies) on the 4th floor. Everything is microwaved. Food is wrapped & kept, then put out the next morning, how's about some stale bagels? Yum! If you have an issue or question, try asking night staff (after about 10pm) if possible. When I was there, it was Asher and Mike. These guys are the only nice ones at the front desk. Everyone else is rude (Troy) or doesn't know what they are doing (Ed- who is another boyfriend of the GM) -The rooms have a tv and couch on one floor, then stairs to the bed (upstairs). Uncomfortable & unsafe if you have a baby crawling everywhere, bright side is you will get a thigh work out while there. -GM Richard yells at you in lobby. I asked for a room with bed on the first floor for safety of my baby and he yelled "you are not happy b/c you aren't getting what you want." This after I spent over $7,000 there! Last straw. I left...

I had an absolutely awful experience at this hotel. I stayed here for 3 or 4 days. On my first day here I had a miscarriage while taking a bath in the bathroom of my loft. And continued to miscarry throughout my stay. When I booked my 4th stay, housekeeping wanted to service my room and I allowed them to, it was a little messy, messy, meaning clothes and shoes, not dirty or filled with trash. They told me I would not be able to stay again and I would not get a refund even after I explained to them I didn't keep it as tidy as I usually do because I was bed ridden suffering from a miscarriage. The front desk girl Jessica laughed at me while I was crying along with the manager I believe her name was Janet. Ingrid another front desk girl showed me no sympathy. Jessica and Ingrid and the manager also stood there and watched me while I had two seizures back to back and I watched them giggling together while watching me after I came out of my seizure episode. Right after that my husband had to go to the hospital by ambulance. I couldn't ride in the ambulance and the valet refused to give me the keys to follow the ambulance to the hospital. Even though they had no problem handing me the keys the past nights I stayed there. I walked two hours alone at 9pm looking for my husband. They did not allow me to sleep in our SUV in their parking garage even though we paid for parking, they made me sleep outside in my car parked in the street that I had to have towed there, with no way to start, lock it, or even roll the windows up. My $100 pair of Nikes also went missing from my room while my husband and I were out, a long with my husband's $250 coach belt. They were definitely stolen by the hotel employees or housekeeping. I went to the front desk one more time to ask for my car keys from valet and I started crying to the old brown skinned man about my. Miscarriage, and he told me "I don't care about your problems, stop crying in my lobby, if you come in here again my son will. Knock. You out. All of the staff that I dealt with were awful and cruel people and should not be in the hotel/hospitality business. All of this is true and I've contacted the BBB, beware of this hotel, trust me, take your...

Giving two stars is maybe a bit harsh, but thinking about the multiple issues, I think it might be necessary to grab your attention. (Synopsis at the bottom).

First, I called to tell them ahead of time that I would be arriving very late, about 1 AM. They said that was no issue. When I arrived, the valet was not there, so I left my car and went to the front desk to check in. At the end of check in, I asked the front desk if I could leave my keys with him, so that the valet could park my car. The front desk person told me to go out to my car and honk so the valet showed up. The valet did wake up from inside his car, but then I felt I had been caught in an uncomfortable situation that the front desk could have handled for me. Second, my key card stopped working the third day I was there. I went down, and that front desk employee was kind, and gave me two just in case. A few days later when my card quit working again, I went down and a different front desk employee gave me a lecture on putting the card close to my phone. Now, I had been very careful to keep the card in my wallet, in the money pocket to keep it away from as many magnetic influences as possible. If their cards demagnetize from my phone being near my wallet, there is nothing I can do about that. Third, that same employee was incredibly rude when I came back one day to find that my room had been cleaned, but they had forgotten to leave towels and toiletries (I did leave a tip when they cleaned). I just asked if someone could bring them to my room. He said no, I had to come get them - okay, that is reasonable if there is no extra staff at night, so I come down and he is just generally dismissive and not friendly at all.

TL;DR - Overall, the customer service at this hotel just left me feeling uncomfortable, not a good experience when I stayed 8 nights and tried to be as kind as I would want others to be toward me. There was also loud renovation occuring in the room above me, daytime only, but still directly above me and VERY loud at times.

(I did not record names of employees, but the younger front desk employee was actually quite kind each time I...
