Worst experience I’ve EVER had at any type of beauty appointment. I got my nails done by Ani and I will absolutely never go back. To start, she was 10 minutes late to the appointment, which I was understanding about. Then she let me into the empty salon and had me sit down at her work station. Her space was horribly dirty, with old nail clippings and grime everywhere. At this point, I would have left if I hadn’t already deposited $50 for the appointment. She had me place my hands on a seemingly pre-used towel that had stains and didn’t seem like she freshly replaced it. She kept cutting my cuticles, which she tried to blame on my cuticles being sensitive, but I could feel pain when she cut into them. When it started bleeding, she went to grab a cotton pad to put over it. But where the cotton touched underneath her nails, a line of dirt was left behind on the cotton pad. She kept grabbing brushes out of a dirty beauty organizer and pushing back my cuticles (including the bleeding ones). All I can say is, I hope she cleans her equipment better than it looks like she takes care of her space generally or else that is a health hazard. She kept going on her phone the majority of the time she was doing my nails. Making phone calls, texting with one hand while doing my nails with the other, and even watching videos at one point. When it came time for my pedicure, she got a call from her boyfriend that he was outside ready to get her so she seemed to rush through my pedicure. Afterwards, she told me prices that were about 2 times as much as the prices I had booked through Vagaro. Originally, I had booked $55 for gel and $25 for a pedicure (regular nail polish), with a receipt emailed to me with those prices. After finishing, she said $95 and $45. When I asked her about the price differences on the website (and showed her my Vagaro receipt when she didn’t believe me), she said the $40 extra for the gel because I got gel x (which ok, fair that it is extra) and that “pedicures haven’t been $25 for years, so I don’t know why you would think that would be the price”. I felt uncomfortable pressing the issue further because it was just me, her, and her boyfriend alone in the salon at this point. All in all, I paid 2x more than I expected to, was worried that I was going to get an infection from her dirty workspace, and was upset by having an incredibly awkward and disappointing experience. I asked for super simple, nude, short nails for a wedding. All I asked is that the nail polish color matched the color used on my fingers. She didn’t bother to find two that even closely matched and then when we started the pedicure, she brought me two shades that didn’t even closely match my nails. She rushed through the pedicure and didn’t even file my toenails straight, they were still super crooked. My gel x on my fingers didn’t last long at all and a nail fell off 6 days later. I wish I turned around as soon as I saw how dirty that workspace was and just lost out on the $50 instead of having to deal with all this. I’m expecting some bad mouthing from her in response to this bad review because she was bad mouthing another bad review that was left here. Just clean your workspace and put your real prices on your website instead of blind...
Read moreLong story short, I moved from the East Coast about four months ago and have since been in California and had two different Nail Tech do my nails and had to travel at least 45 min an neither of them have been able to do it like Ming Le , Sam and Tommy back on theEast Coast. One girl even tried to tell me that ny Birthday nail set she did only stayed on for a week because my nail bed was oily. I ended up going to the east coast and having them redone after only a week 🙄🙄🙄 I’ve literally been getting my nails done for years and never had that issue.
I found La Vie Nails online 5 min from my house an I decided to give the West Coast one last time to do my nails before. I literally take a trip back to the East Coast just to get them done the right way and when I tell you, Alina 💅 did her damn thing I fell in love with my nails !!! I keep replaying the comment that she made in my head when I was telling her about my nails breaking and falling off from other techs …. she said very softly MY NAILS DONT COME OFF u have nothing to worrie about Nothing will come off!!! It’s been THREEE weeks since I’ve last seen her and it doesn’t even look like I need a fill-in the nails still look like I just came out of the nail shop. I will upload pictures. There is one missing, but that is only my fault because I just slammed my hand in the door yesterday, but she did a phenomenal job. Her creativity was on point. Her technique was amazing and my lollipop Pinky has not budged yet and I’m pretty rough with my hands. I can’t wait to go see her again and have my next session. I already know what style I’m going to get, so happy that I found her will definitely be recommending her to anybody I come across!!! My girl is the truth great atmosphere comfortable vibes she even put me onto a new Netflix series that I couldn’t stop watching ☺️☺️☺️ I have already made my appointment for my next set literally three weeks later. So happy I...

I recommended her to a close friend who loved the looks of my lashes, because ms.glam did them. I was super stoked. Naturally I recommended my friend to come here. She's been getting her lashes done for years on and end and she inspired me to get my lashes done btw.
So my friend goes to get her lashes done and I get a call from my friend crying telling me that her eyes burned and everyone kept asking if she was "high" and ..idk what happened. And she was telling me her vision was getting blurry and she wasn't sure what it was but that maybe it could've been the glue. Day 2 after getting her lashes done by this lady.. The sweet lash tech Turned into a stranger to me after I reached out and told me my friend was insane???? Totally not cool. I have all the screen shots from both sides. Trying to curse my friend and telling her she was going to hell for asking for her money back because she was taking money from her kids. Instead of worrying about my friends eyes. That's definitely not how you run a business.
Day 3 my friend is rushing into urgent care and the doctor said she got an eye infection and told us tools were probably not autoclaved. Mean while the words "you're being dramatic" echoed in my head as my friend told me that's what she was told by Ms. Glam. I really think she owes my friend an apology. To think I was going to recommend her to my clientele only for her to react like this to my close friend? I couldn't imagine recommending her to my...
