What a profound disappointment given all the good reviews for Amnesia - yet no real puzzles!!! Just physically look around and follow directions. The first “puzzle” Required a physical task which they told us was designed to take up to 30 minutes?! So basically you’re all standing around until you complete one task with absolutely nothing else to do. Not worth the money at all - I think it’s essential to warn people to know what to expect. This is not a room for people who enjoy puzzles. This game is perfect for families, especially with kids, but also for adults that are children at heart. It would be perfect for kids birthdays too.

If you’re a scallywag that loves life aboard a ship, and puzzles then this pirate adventure is for you. it’s a fun experience. There’s a good mix of puzzles and activities that are easy enough for new Escape room players to enjoy without hints while still being a little challenging enough to feel a sense of accomplishment. We celebrated my son’s 12th birthday at the Culver City location, and it was a fantastic choice! The Pirates room was a lot of fun. The kids were fully engaged from start to finish, completely involved and excited. The puzzles and atmosphere felt very realistic, and the game master did an excellent job guiding the group when they needed assistance while still maintaining the challenge.
