Silverlake Liquor — Attraction in Los Angeles

Let's face it, we've all gotten to know our neighborhood liquor store owner a little bit better during the pandemic, but few can boast of knowing one as cool as Hary at Jason's Spirits in Silver Lake. I think I've had a conversation with him literally every day these last couple years, with exception of a few trips here and there He always lends me his ear during both the brightest and darkest times and gives great recommendations on the best, latest, and freshest craft beers. I've been living in Silver Lake since 2003. This week is my last visit to this store. No prices on some beers and at the check out he charged me $12 for four cans of Boddingtons. He seemed to fiddle and reenter the price a few times. Most LA store charge $8. I used a credit card so i didn't ask for my money back. I just nicely mentioned its $8 in other stores. ...nothing. I am a long time regular patron of Jason's Wines & Spirits  (now called Silver Lake Liquors). It's a very good place and a convenient location.  But they currently have a terrible customer service problem. That woman who runs the place is just awful. She really makes it plain that she cannot stand most of the patrons who USED to frequent the store. (Business has really dropped off).
