SHADY SALESWOMAN SWITCHED PRICE TAGS

I’ve been here a few times and each time I made a purchase except for this last time this past weekend. I went to purchase an item that had a tag on it for $12 but there was also $15 handwritten on the cardboard hanger it was on.

I placed the item on the counter and directed the saleswoman’s attention to the $12 tag that was on it. She immediately said “oh no, that’s not right this should be $15 not $12 but there is a 10% of sale today.” She then began to ring the item up, and told me with 10% off it would be $13.50… then she added sales tax and says oh you’re using a card that’ll be an extra charge. “Total is $14.90”

I explained to the woman that it was false advertising and that the customer was always right and that the charge should be $12 plus tax and fees. Another customer observing chimed in saying “he’s right! Why not just give it to him at that price?” The sales woman says “no, it’s $14.90…” I reiterated my point to no avail with her just repeating the aforementioned.

I told her I’m not going to argue with you I’m going to take my business and my money elsewhere have the day you deserve.

I had so much fun visiting this store for the first time. They do custom necklace chain lengths if you request it. All of the four workers that I encountered are helpful, friendly, knowledgable about the products and have a nice selection from the different vendors. One worker at her booth told me that she can make custom pieces for you. other vendors might be able to if you ask also. I showed up late to almost closing, and even though I made them run 8 minutes over closing time, having to use a diferent credit card they didn't yell at me and were still polite to me. I like how I was treated and valued as a customer. I am not sure why one other reviewer hated the store, but if they read this give them another chance, and if it's a certain item that you are looking for maybe they can make it or get it for you.
