Beautiful park. Lots of trees but plenty of sunshine too. Awesome playground for the littles with ample places to sit. Shaded picnic tables, sunny park benches, majestic trees of many species, and grassy areas to sit. A paved/gravel trail circles the park for those who want to get some exercise. There are two tennis courts at the park and restrooms too. Of course due to COVID-19, the water fountains are turned off so bring your water bottles. One of the best things about this park is the “Story Walk” which is a series of signs depicting the pages of a children’s book. As you walk along the trail, you read subsequent pages of the book. Great way to encourage reading and exercise in young children.

When I visited on a weekend morning, this well-maintained public park was being enjoyed by families, dog walkers and strollers. There's a 1 mile paved nature trail lined with a variety of trees. Each tree had an ID tag with its species and common name. At several points, you can go into the woods to reach a stony creek. A unique feature is a storybook nature walk by the playground. The park also has 2 tennis/pickleball courts, full restrooms and a good-sized parking lot. There's a well-preserved 18th century farmhouse and porch to admire from the outside. Leashed dogs are welcome.

We had a great time at Ashbridge Park! The playground has a variety of fun and safe elements for kids, and the tennis and pickleball courts are a nice addition for anyone looking to get active. There’s a scenic trail that’s perfect for a stroll, and we even took a relaxing snack break surrounded by greenery. It’s a peaceful and well kept spot perfect for families or a casual day outdoors!

This wonderful park has a lot to offer. It has a large fenced in playground area that is divided into two separate parts to keep the little children separated from the bigger kids. The playgrounds has a host of playing equipment and swings including swings for handicapped accessibility. The center of the playground has picnic tables that have a cover over them. The park has bathrooms, a drinking fountain, two tennis courts, open fields for play and more picnic tables under a large tree. The park has walking paths. The walking paths near the playground are paved while the walking paths on the southern and eastern edges are crushed stone. If you follow the crushed stone path to the northeast side side of the park you will see a sign providing information about creek restoration work. There are trails through the small wooded are to the creek where you can see the Ashbidge Creek Restoration. If you are planning on playing a game at the park on a Sunday be aware they have a sign posted on the tennis courts that reads in part "Sunday games of any kind are...

This well-kept public park was being used by families, dog walkers, and strollers when I went there on a Sunday morning. A mile-long, paved nature trail is surrounded by a range of trees. Each tree had an identification tag that listed the species and popular name. You can enter the woods at a few different locations to get to a stony brook. A fairytale nature walk alongside the playground is a special feature. Additionally, there are two tennis and pickleball courts, complete facilities, and a sizable parking lot in the park. You may view the porch and well-preserved farmhouse from the 18th century from the outside. Dogs on leashes...
