I've been living at The Courts for almost a year. I haven't gone through the lease renewal process yet, so I can't really give my opinion about that. I moved in sight unseen as I couldn't make a trip out to the area before starting my new job in January. The leasing office staff were incredibly helpful and worked with me to get everything figured out with my narrow move-in window. They even gave me a tour of the facilities over the weekend so that I had a better idea of where to direct the movers the next day and were around to provide guidance the day of.
One of the main reasons I chose this apartment complex was the area. I love that it's a safe community, with access to the SRT, and all the benefits of living near the Conshy shops. The amenities are a wonderful bonus! Thereâs a large gym area, basketball court, movie theater, a few spaces for residents to congregate, a conference room, and a secure package room. Especially around the holidays itâs helpful to have packages safe from thieves no matter where you live. The Courts has events occasionally to foster a community environment. These events have included food trucks, book signings, and even a holiday party.
The residents are nice and welcoming. If youâd like to get to know more of them, you just need to hang out near the coffee machine by the leasing office. The grounds are well maintained and Iâve yet to see a resident that doesnât pick up after their dog which has been a major problem in other places Iâve lived. I am particularly grateful for the covered parking. The setup is unique with the West building garage in the center of the complex flanked by the courtyard and pool area on either side. The East building is smaller and only has a lower level garage with the overflow going to the West building.
My first month here the fire alarm went off 2-3 times, one of those being in the middle of the night. Itâs only gone off 1-2 more times since then, but I'm light and noise sensitive so they are a huge nuisance when they happen. I agree with one of the previous reviewers that the stove knobs could be more secure, but honestly those knobs are standard issue. My only other problem is that the leasing office has been spotty about communication with the residents. I called 911 around 2am about smelling gas in one of the stairwells while out walking my dog. I stuck around until the fire department arrived, found the leak (stove on the 1st fl), and started airing out the stairwell. The residents werenât evacuated and no alarms were rung since it was resolved quickly, but I had expected the leasing office to issue some kind of warning email about this situation to increase awareness. Hopefully, the new residentâs only app will lead to better communication. Overall, a great place to live and prices are within range for this area taking into account the amenities as well as square footage (beware that there are times when prices are...
Read moreI have been a resident at Courts for a year and the management company here is extremely disappointing - although the on-site Maintenance staff is great. The management response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and any other community issues or concerns, has been to censor residents by DELETING their comments in the Courts Residents Facebook group and REMOVING people who ask questions or express any concerns (this happened to myself and at least 4 other residents yesterday). They have also chosen to scoff at and outright ignore people asking what can be done to possibly help people financially regarding during this difficult and unprecedented time. Itâs also very unfortunate that none of our money being pocketed seems to actually be put towards improving the property. In early January they gave all residents 2 daysâ notice that no one could park in the parking garage (which is included in our rent cost) indefinitely while repairs were done on it. ZERO questions from residents were answered about what the repairs were and why there was no advance notice. We assume there were issues with the foundation of the garage, considering there are enforcements and beams taking up 12 parking spots on each floor to hold up each floor above, which have all been left untouched since they reopened the garage on January 24th....... It is now May 20th and to this day any and all questions around the garage repairs are ignored or deleted from the FB group. They are actively censoring residentsâ questions and issues to make them go away. GMH Capital Management only cares about money (they are raising existing residentsâ rent during this time) and will not provide ANY transparent information. Unfortunately they have chosen greed rather than considering the long term implications of how providing clear information and showing a little empathy could have created the opportunity for residents to spread positive word about...

I've been living at The Courts at Spring Mill Station for more than four years, and I can confidently say it's one of the best places I've ever called home.
First off, the maintenance team is fantastic. They are incredibly proactive and always get the job done right the first time. Whether itâs a small repair or a larger issue, they respond quickly and efficiently, which is a great relief.
The leasing and management office team deserves a shout-out as well. They make leasing and renewal processes so easy and stress-free. Every interaction has been pleasant and professional, and theyâre always there to answer any questions I have.
I also appreciate the concierge staff, who go above and beyond to help manage my packages and food delivery orders. It's great to have that level of service.
Lastly, the location is unbeatable! With a walking trail and easy access to the SEPTA train into the city, right in my backyard, I couldn't ask for a better spot.
Overall, I highly recommend The Courts at Spring Mill Station to anyone looking for a great...
