Happened upon this place while riding the Schuylkill River Trail from Philadelphia to Valley Forge. What a great pitstop on a hot summer day! They have a deck and bike rack right on the trail. There were many bikers there. It was a very refreshing find! Another poster mentioned the lack of a bike pump. I didn't even think of that. But, I suppose he's right in that this could be a great pitstop if they catered more to the bike crowd by offering goods and services that were biking specific. They have an opportunity there. They did offer a Conshohoken Brewing company biking shirt, I noticed. I suppose biking goods and services is a bit out of their sphere, but on thinking of it, they could have a great business opportunity here if they were to expand a bit. I understand they only recently opened this little watering hole so perhaps more can be offered in the future. It seemed popular when I was there. I hope things work out for them and look forward to visiting them again...
Read moreWent there because the description on the website says they are pet friendly. Waited outside in the deck for a long time waiting for someone to come and no one came. Decided to go inside to ask where I could be with my dog and was told that dogs can’t be inside for not only a second. Look, I am a rule follower and if they tell me that I can’t be inside, I will obey. The issue was: -how will I order my food if the only way is if I enter the restaurant? Should I leave my dog outside? the deck is pet friendly, but there are no tables or chairs. It’s the first time I see a place that says they are pet friendly, but you have to stay standing the entire time. the person that attended me was rude. I was just trying to understand what the rules were and received a lecture on why they can’t have dogs inside.
While I write this, I am on the deck. It’s been a long time and no one...
Read moreConshohocken Brewery is a great place to go. They have a variety of homemade beer there that is so good and the names of their beer are different. They have names that make you want to try their beer. They do serve food, and it's really good. They have a soft pretzel that's huge enough for 2 people. The Bartenders are nice and friendly and are always willing to help you to decide on a beer. The cook he's really nice and his food is delicious. They have a outdoor area and you can purchase t- shirts, and bike shirts there. Its my favorite place to go plus they have different events like Octoberfest and during Halloween you can go to Penn's bury asylum which is haunted and during the event they serve beer and food. I love this place,it's the best place in Conshohocken. And they do draw a nice crowd of people. So go there and try it out you won't be...
