Adelphos Cellars — Attraction in Lubbock

What a wonderful experience at Adelpho’s! We traveled from the Dallas area specifically to see the new venue they have built. Spectacular!!! Attention to detail is everywhere. Lubbock is fortunate to have such a gem!!! Of course our focus is Texas wine and there was no disappointment. We’ve known Manuel for quite some time through Pheasant Ridge and we’re so thankful he’s now with Adelpho’s. His passion and expertise is reflected in every bottle. Whites and Reds are equally exceptional. We were especially blown away by Diamanté. Appropriately named! Barbara was generous to provide us a tour and enjoyed the conversation and thought process that went into planning for this beautiful venue. Jillian was a delight in guiding us through the tastings. We had an incredible time wine tasting @ Aldelphos Cellars with Jullian🍷She was very versed in wines, knowledgeable about every detail and friendly 💫 We were fortunate enough to meet Jim Erwin co/owner of Adelphos and agriculture and wine specialist. Jim took time to visit with us about the history and meaning behind the name Adelphos. This winery will not disappoint! 3 stars because the wine and food was good. I was disappointed that my husband and I paid for 2 wine tastings, but lacked the experience. I got the white and rose tasting, and I did not appreciate that they were all pre-poured and sitting out at room temperature. Our waitress also did not share the wine profiles with us. In my opinion, this is apart of the experience. Learning about the wines and their flavor profiles. I feel like we paid the same price for a wine tasting as I would at Llano or McPhersons, but had much less wine and without the experience that goes...
