One star. If I could give zero, I would. I went into Walmart today to pick up some oil and a new air filter. Simple, right? Apparently not. I made the grave error of using the "auto entrance" door, which is... literally right next to the auto parts section. I wasn't there for service, just parts, but who cares, right? Apparently, the management does. I was met with a snide, "You know, that's the service entrance," complete with an eye roll that could have launched a small satellite. Excuse me? Last time I checked, I was a paying customer, not a trespasser. I even checked out up front in the 20min wait line with virtually no registers open. I bought my items feeling thoroughly unwelcome, and left threw the auto exit door. It’s clear this place has forgotten that customers are the reason they exist. The attitude was appalling, and the implication that I was somehow beneath them for using the "wrong" door was insulting. Instead of focusing on petty door etiquette, maybe they should focus on basic customer service. I won't be back. I'll take my business (and my money) elsewhere. No longer a convient place to shop. AutoZone and advanced auto now have all my money. They don't even care if you use the exit door to enter. Well done, great way to focus on your customers. Take your business elsewhere read the negative reviews there stacking up at this place and be weary.

The Walmart in Burlington don't I have a story to tell the worst store in the United States of America that I know of the employees are disrespectful always hiding get pissed off when you ask them where is this at I call this the n Walmart then when you order offline they too damn lazy to get your order together you never get what you want you wasting your time ordering online then when you call them to get your money back where to find out what's going on forget about it you'll never hear from him unless you dig a thousand feet you better off swimming to the Titanic and get your butter and bread when shopping there you might as well go 7:00 a.m. in the morning anytime after that you're shaking at the front door thinking you going to get robbed in this place someone stole my shopping cart with my shopping bags in it thinking there was money in the cart not a safe store. Typical Walmart. The only remarkable difference is how many employees are on their phones. Sorry, one more annoying detail; so many price tags are covered by tags that say "Item out of stock". The idea that someone has the time and will to complete such a task when so many in-stock items aren't priced at all is truly mind boggling. 12/18/20 I just tried to cash my stimulus check and the woman suggested I go to ShopRite, CVS or Acme because we can't cash government checks. I asked why the website states: "The only types of checks we cannot cash are personal checks." She blamed NJ. Fine.Trenton strikes again. But why would CVS, Shoprite, etc. in NJ be able to accommodate me? If the site can tell me which physical merchandise is in stock at stores near me, it can do the same for services. Instead, they buried the NJ exclusion in the very last sentence of fine print at the bottom of the page.

Awful experience, customer service is non-existent. Walmart over the years has gone down hill, and that's pretty bad since the bar wasn't set very high to begin with. I went to Walmart in Lumberton after checking online to see if what I needed was in stock. Walmart online said it was available at the store and told me what section to find it in. When I got to the store, I found my nearest employee and asked where section Z was (which is not labeled btw) and the woman seemed nice enough, sending me back to the seasonal department where there are more batteries (I was looking for a battery for my car key fob). After making it to that department and searching around I saw only standard batteries (AA, AAA, etc) but not the round batteries I needed. So I went to the neighboring department (fishing/outdoors) and asked the gentleman behind the desk there for some help. He barely looked up from his phone only to say "Ever heard of the Walmart App? If you had it, you'd know where to find things." "Excuse me sir?" What a jerk, right?! Then he proceeded to pull out his store associate smart device and begrudgingly look up what I asked him for. He sent me to electronics and glared at me when I thanked him for his help and wished him a happy peaceful holiday despite him being a jerk. I get to electronics to wait on line for the one lady out of 3 people who was actually working with customers. She was nice (clearly over worked as a result of being willing to do her job). She told me where section Z was and explained that she wished the store would mark that section too so people knew where to look. Suggestion Box Walmart! There's insight to be gained. We explained that we stopped there first before asking for any help and checked both battery displays by the registers and found none of the type of batteries we were looking for. Then she paged someone to jewelry to help us and sent us there to have someone help us, thinking it could be a type of battery watches might take too, which they keep locked in a cabinet. Thank you for trying to help me miss. You're the only one left at that Walmart who cares. We went to jewelry and waited for 10 minutes, and no one came of course. So I went back to the registers to check the battery displays once more before giving up and I found the tag for the battery I needed which was above an empty space. So I pulled out my phone, and ordered what I needed on Amazon. Something I tried not to do in this case, however it was my only way to get what I needed. Dear big box businesses, Amazon is taking many of you out because you are not investing in the right places. Your employees are overworked and underpaid, the people who do good work leave those environments for better, the people you get to stay are miserable and lazy, and your customers have Amazon as a pretty solid alternative. I had my batter in a matter of 5 hours from the time I ordered it. I tried to support you Walmart, but you were not there to support me, yet again. Sincerely, a frustrated and insulted...

As former associate working there, I would like to give a heads up to anyone who may be thinking about working at this particular Walmart, I advise you not to work at this particular one. First off, they are ALWAYS short staffed it seems and you as an employee will sometimes find your self either working alone in department or sometimes you'll be thrown into multiply departments and be expected to juggle multiple jobs, which is unfair. You will often find that you can not rely on management , there's only like two-three managers that are actually helpful to you but for the most part you will have to be able to think quickly on your feet. The store manager does not treat their employees with respect and empathy as they should, therefore there are a lot of depressed and under appreciated employees who deserve recognition. There is most defiantly favoritism when it comes to promotions. There are people working there now that have been there for years and are some of the top worker of the store and I have yet to see them be promoted. The ones who are friends with the managers are the ones that get promoted. There are managers that are currently working there now that do not have proper training management nor knowledge management and it shows in their work ethic. Some of the managers share the store manager's same mentality. They treat you like they are above you in all aspects, almost peasant like. Sometimes they even flat out ignore you. The customers there have a slave mentality mind set and will treat like you are next to nothing, and management is a bunch of push-overs who will allow unfair treatment. So I urge you for your own piece of mind and as a former employee to this particular store ,if you are interested in working for Walmart, avoid this particular store. I hope I helped anyone make a decision. Please I urge not to work here. There's people there now that need to leave, because they deserve so much better than...

Decent array of boys clothing items on sale or priced under $10. Cat kid books up to $4 off.The boys shoe section was completely empty.

My only issue was attitude of the workers. Water shoes in every size and gender were all thrown in one bin. While looking I had to place a lot of shoes on the ground in a pile as the bin was overflowing with tangled shoes and I had the left foot of a pair. As I was standing over the pile making the 6 month old a bottle and my 8 year old was putting his sneakers back on a very rude worker that was about 2 isles over can and demanded I pick up the pile that i know she just heard me tell my son to start cleaning up as she had been giving me dirty looks for a while. She was not warm or welcoming. Sje did not inquire about the mess. She just said "and i know your not gonna leave. It like that because i doubt it was like that when you got here" i said "of course i teach my child to be responsible for the messes he makes and to treat all things how he wants his own to be treated" she said "yeah ok just make sure you'll pick that up". Then when i went to the family bathroom another worker gave me a hard time for allowing my 8 year old to go in alone before the large stroller and myself. She insisted that "for that he could have used the mens rooms this is for families".There was no line and i went in with the stroller as soon as he was comfortable with me doing so. I had to place my shopping items at the bottom of my stroller as i could not push a stroller and a cart. Another worker questioned this and treated me like i...
