King of Pizza-The Famous- Mount Holly, NJ — Restaurant in Mount Holly Township

Was here over the weekend and won't be going back. The food and the service used to be really good, even a few months ago. Not sure what happened between then and now. We ordered a pizza and a chef's salad and the turkey was dark brown and dried out. The cucumbers were dried out around the edges. It looked like it was left out of the refridgerator. My wife said it didn't look right so I tasted the turkey and it had a tinny taste to it so we threw it out. We also weren't too happy that the guy making the food in the back didn't change his gloves. This was after both guys who were cooking (one guy was making pizza and you can't make pizza wearing gloves) were at the front counter touching the phone, cash register and other things. Neither of them washed their hands before going back to making food. We also didn't appreciate being "put on hold" while we were ordering at the front counter while ALL 3 staff were trying to take ONE phone order. Guess we'll have to find a new...

First time I ordered from here was because I got a circular and called to inquire about their cheese steaks.I wanted to see if it was really an ethnic Philly style cheese steaks. You know, the real one with the real steak. After talking to who I guess was the manger I order two,,,, "Absolutely Delicious"!!!.Just like the one I used to get in Philly. A couple of weeks later I decide to order again but this time I went into the restaurant. As I was ordering I glanced back in the kitchen at the cook as he was cooking the food, He was taking his hands and wiping the food particles on the back of his partially pulled down pants right onto his underwear. Taking his finger scratching the inside of his ear. No gloves, no hand washing DISGUSTING!!!!! I walked out ..Nasty Nasty. If you don't want to get sick...

I use to work there as a delivery driver, and can say i miss it! Great family run business, Sam is amazing, understanding and cares deeply about his customers, food, and enviornment. Couldn't say a negative thing about him. I know the cooks personally, (hell i even cooked a couple times), and they are well taught the proper ways of preparing, cooking, and cleaning! Sometimes orders may take a lil bit long, but only because proper care, attention, and cooking are taken for each and every order. And I know for a fact, if there is a complaint or issus with an order, Sam is more than happy to correct the issue as best as possible or offer a credit.
