So today I made an order to this place which I have been going to for A few years. Unfortunately my order had wet soggy rice and mushy over steamed dumplings. So I called to tell them and see if we could do an new order or maybe A refunds neither mattered to much time me it’s was only A 12$ order. She offered a solution and then said if your don’t like that I’ll call 911. She then literally was calling the police on me while i was on the phone. Talk about disappointment smh usually I spend about 80$ for my large family (6 of us) here at least once a month and cannot understand why she got so nasty with me over the phone. I heard dispatch ask if I could stay on the phone so I waited to talk to the officer especially after she threatened to have to owner come to my home. She then asked me to stay on the and then police will say who is right. Then she complained I was still on hold when the officer arrived. The officer told them this is not A police matter asked if she was going to return the money. She told him once they get the food then they would. Bad bad bad business manner, maybe they get yelled at allot about food idek. I just wanted to get non mushy food...
Read moreOn various occasions I’ve ordered takeout from this location, & the meat is reddish brown when you split the wings in half. It looks like the animal that they cooked had a disease, or the meat is going bad and they still decided to throw it in the pan. The inside of the meat is so GROSS I had to throw it out!!!!!! This happens whenever I’d order food to be delivered to my home. When I order food at their establishment, the food is great. They probably believe that if a customer decides to sit and eat at their place, they’d notice the gross chicken and would demand their money back. DISGUSTING!!!!!!! That’s what they’re serving you at Ka wah for $10 or more per order.
They’re fully aware of what they’re serving given that this has occurred on various occasions.
STAY AWAY!!!!! The food here will make you SICK!

Read morePoor customer service spoils the dining experience. I've been going to Ka Wah for almost 10 years now and the customer service experience has completely changed for the worse lately. This restaurant has an online ordering system available, but be prepared to be berated over the phone for using it when you go to pick up your order. The person who usually runs the counter is not pleasant and does very little to make customers feel welcome. EDIT: I just want to point out that I made no complaint about being made to wait. If my order is not ready or if I arrive too early, just say so. My complaint was about receiving poor customer service. And I think anyone can see by the owner's response that I was right.
