Great shopping destination if your looking to avoid Lynchburg's more traffic congested shopping hubs. I'm a little partial to this plaza as I've been an employee at the no longer existent Toys R Us 17 years and work at the ever so present Super Shoes for 7 years. Besides shopping st Super Shoes (large work shoes selection and big scrubs store! Yes, nurses/professional scrubs!), we have Dollar Tree, Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Cato, Staples, hair beauty supply store, Party City (currently have a liquidation sale), a children's dance studio, Lumber Liquidators, and a trampoline center, formerly called Jump (great place to host kids birthday parties or to take kids to expend some energy). Hungry? We got options! Cici's Pizza is back, newly remodeled, new mangement, and delicious! We also have a cafe again that has real baristas making handcrafted beverages, the new to Lynchburg (opened January 2025), Ironclad Coffee! We also have Wasabi (great sushi and hibachi), Honey Baked Ham (delicios deli sandwiches), Macado's, and a Hardee's. There's also an Apple Bees just outside of the center. We're conveniently located right across the street from Liberty University which is great for college students without cars and visitors staying at nearby hotels looking for someplace close to walk to for dining and shopping. GLTC public bus service also runs through our shopping center with several bus stops. We're conveniently close to Highway 460 East and West with several exit ramps, so if you want to bypass or avoid Wards Rd chaotic traffic, you can! We have space available for some more...
Read moreThe shopping center is nicely laid out. When you see it on a 2D map you can't really see that this shopping center is built on a hill. They use the local topography instead of forging it's all flat. That's nice. The store selection is ok, it's got a few places that have recently closed up shop. The store, Ollie's, is a neat place that you can send an hour or two in looking at and buying some neat stuff. Think Overstock in person. Some pots my wife bought were actually showing their original price in Pounds Sterling "£". How funny! Anyway, the shopping center is overall a nice place. Your...
Read moreAmazon is now diverting some returns to Staples stores. This is good for Staples, as I have not been in here for years. You are given a coupon to use in store, along with your receipt of Amazon drop off. Items here are significantly higher than you could find them elsewhere, but I'd guess a lot of corporate charge cards are used here, so price is not personally important. I did buy art supplies. Quick checkout. Think about what you might want to buy from there before you go and check prices first. I checked this and took a screenshot so I could compare...
