Lynn Beach — Attraction in Lynn

Celebrated the 2018 4th of July fireworks here in Lynn which took place the night of the 3rd, it became a wonderful night out. We were overjoyed to be able to see the display of fireworks in the city we were shortly visiting for the holiday. Especially in a state to be known historically for its American Revolution which led us to Independence. Shoreline is beautiful. Great place to walk on the sidewalk and look down at the ocean. The beach, however, HAS GLASS EVERYWHERE. Not sea glass. Broken bottle glass. Given the abundance and variety of glass covering the entire beach, this is clearly not an overnight occurrence, but an ongoing issue the town ignores.

Due to tge construction in the bay of a highway the ecosystem of this once more beautiful place has been jeopardized, causing an increase of growth of a sulfuric smelling redish brown seaweed. This has led to the death of marine life in the area causing the beach to be covered in crustacean and shellfish remains. Work needs to be done on finding a solution to the ecological flow that has...
