North Shore Community College — Local services in Lynn

I studied at NORTH SHORE COMMUNITY COLLEGE last year in 2023. At the beginning of the semester I ordered a few items from the book store and never found the opportunity to pick them up. Today I had some spare time on my hands and decided to track down my order. I called the Danvers store where the gentleman there was very polite, searched the system with my name because I did not have the order number and informed me that my order was not processed in Danvers. My only other option was to track it down from the Lynn location. I called the Lynn campus and was transferred to the book store, Cady Vacarro answered the phone. I asked her polite if she can search my name in the system to track my order. She purposely misinformed me that searching the system via my name was something she could not do. Verbatim I said “ hun, Danvers just did it for me” she apparently was offened by me calling her “hun” and got real rude about it then had the audacity to accuse me of being rude after I told her Danvers campus had just searched it for me, she told me when I change my attitude call back then she hung up on me. I proceeded to call NSCC back 5 times in which each transfer made to the book store she REFUSED to answer. That brought me to show up at NSCC to express to her that when dealing with the public she better have the same energy face to face as she does over the phone, this prompting her to call security right away, apparently her energy isn’t on the same level. Security officers Sgt. Earagho and Sgt. Laf appeared at the bookstore. One went into the store to speak to Cady at the counter and the other security asked me to step out the store to speak to him. I handed the security officer my ID for the sole purpose of it being easy to look up my name for the order at the bookstore. Cady at that time did her job and found my items that were processed (all of a sudden she could search my name in the system and find my order without an order number) before handing me my items the security officers informed me that they were detaining me for a possible warrant. At this point I was extremely offended. NSCC security characterized me, harassed and wrongly “detained” me with a false accusation. Awful,awful,awful experience! The first time I failed the math class, so I went a second time to retake the test to get into classes during the fall. The first time I failed the teacher was very helpful and gave back my test scores showing what I need to work on/improve on. The second time, the teacher(it was a different lady) was extremely rude. The test is a multiple choice test. I applied to become a student there, when I reached out to the admissions department they were so unprofessional. The email I first sent had a greeting and signature, they emailed me back one sentences responses and emailed like I was a coworker or a friend.
