Ethnic & Mining Museum of Magna — Attraction in Magna

Though the museum is in development, I had a very pleasant visit there with my boys. Seeing the amazing old pictures of how the mine progressed and used to have a railroad spiraling out of it! The amount of earth mined for such a small amount of product seems unbelievable! The staff were especially nice and they had some nice copper jewelry and postcards and t-shirts. There is no admission fee so I felt OK about buying a toy dump truck for my boys to support the museum. They have a movie about an hour long to show more of the history but probably not really geared for young kids. I think they close at 3pm...

Magna has amazing history. This place pays great respect to the times of the past and the curators are very nice and very knowledgeable. There's some awesome stuff to look at it. Everytime I come I see something new that I missed before....
