They advertised on Facebook that there was a surplus of food that they needed to get rid and asked people to come down and pick some up so being tight on our budget I thought I'd run down to grab some food. First, it's very difficult to figure out which door to go to among all the other businesses in the strip, then when I walked in, not only is it a bit of a mess with a bunch of used clothing thrown in a heap onto a table against the wall but the smell of stale cigarette smoke hits you like a brick wall as you enter. Is that even legal? I told them I'd seen the ad and thought of come pick up a few things, then they made me fill out a form to be “helped out". I was confused because the thought made it sound like they just had extra food laying around that that need to get rid of, I went there because I was desperate and NEEDED the help. I filled out the form and they brought out a box of food. I will say that the ladies there were very nice and accommodating even helping me carry my box out even though it was closing time. Very nice people. This is a great place and awesome place to receive clothing items and food items when in need it’s good for canned items and items that don’t expire, but sometimes items are expired like one day they passed out milk and when I took it home, it was a week old and it was all clumpy and had that bad after smell to it It’s awesome that they’re helping and providing for people who have nothing but maybe they should check dates on some things before they pass it out because although it’s good giving out food you also don’t wanna...
