This place is more than just a restaurant- It's a small town burger joint! Whether you're grabbing a bite, catching up with friends, or sipping on a canned soda or a cold beer, it just feels like home. (I always go for the canned root beer — takes me back to eating out with my dad.)
The menu is small but mighty — everything is made fresh and served hot! Looking for a recommendation? Try the Garlic Burger on the ciabatta bun — it’s amazing. And the home made fries paired with the house made fry sauce, best duo in Utah!
The staff is always friendly, and even when it’s busy, the atmosphere stays warm and welcoming, it truly feels like home each time you walk in.
The owner is a Magna native who goes above and beyond to support the community — offering after-school jobs to local teens so they can earn a little pocket cash and gain real-world experience.
Sure, "The Old Main Street Grill" has its quirks — but that’s part of the charm of a small town business. If you’re looking for fresh food, good company, and a place that truly cares about its people, this is your spot.

FOOD: BLT: The bread was only toasted around the edges, but overall, the sandwich was decent.
Turkey, Bacon, and Lettuce: Similar issue with the bread—only toasted on the edges. The turkey looked a bit like ham, which caused some confusion. My wife thinks it was turkey but wasn’t completely sure.
Mushroom Burger: Moist and flavorful! The bacon had a nice crisp, which was a highlight.
Chicken Avocado and Swiss: (No comments were included—feel free to add your thoughts here!)
Fries: I appreciated that they were freshly peeled and cut, which is a great touch. However, they were quite thick and came out flimsy—I personally prefer fries that are crispy.
SERVICE: The person who helped us (didn’t catch his name) was very friendly and kind during both ordering and pickup. Great customer service!
ATMOSPHERE: The wall decor is fire—seriously cool...

Garlic Burger: asked for onions grilled, got no onions; patty was smaller than a McDonald's quarter pounder. For reference, they use ciabatta buns and you could not see the patty.
Grilled Bacon Avocado Chicken: avocado was like store smashed and was slopped on one side of bread. Bacon was luke warm.
Nice presentation. Soda is canned. Mimosas, half empty or half full? Guess the glass was over sized? Don't expect a water refill until they bring you the check, unless you go up to the bar. One last thing, didn't let the kid (looks maybe 16) that's eating in the kitchen see you see him eating in the kitchen. He'll slam the kitchen door. One more, one last thing, careful when you sit down, the chairs are a creakin. Three people, $60. Magna cannot afford this.
In response to owner: Did NOT have 3 cans of root beer. Was NOT starting at kid, was trying to find the bartender/chef to get a water, did NOT leave a tip, no one said good bye as no...
