Fred Deadman Park — Attraction in Manchester

I love this little park. There is a walking trail that runs beside a stream and you can catch tadpoles. The trail also has several points where it comes out. If you walk one way, you'll come out beside the softball fields and you can stop or keep walking to the road and go across to the soccer fields. If you walk the other way, you can come out by the police station or by the rec center. There is an area with gym equipment. There are ball fields, tennis courts, bathrooms, pavilions for parties od just general enjoyment. There is a skate park and a building where a lot of people host events. When I take my kids to this park, I get the feeling of community. I hope this...

I was so impressed with Deadman Parks skateboard area. My son has a wonderful time there with plenty of options to skate and it's fenced in for safety and there was plenty of parking. I was also impressed with how clean it was. I haven't found any areas for restroom which I am still looking for but, I am planning on taking my son back there to continue his skateboard lessons so if any of you are in town or new to Manchester or just traveling through, this place is great for especially a child who's into playing at the park or wants to take skateboard lessons or just have fun. Also the fact that it was free made it even better and their hours of opening...

It's a really nice place as far as playing Pokemon Go. But the negatives are: there is a lot of trash in and near the water. Some of the people are rude, as far as the walkways go. They don't look where they are going. So those are the cons. As far as the skate park it's a really nice place but they should really add more street compatible stuff to skate, maybe expand it more so it's bigger. Maybe add a Vert Ramp an more rails so we all have something we like. I'm 32 and I love to skateboard been skating for years but all in all it's a nice place, just lots of trash. Once cleaned I will give a better review...
