The 10U basketball girls program and the coaches are an absolute disgrace to Meriwether county. Saturday at our game in Pike, a young lady decided to spike that ball into my daughter’s face, then followed that up by trying to swing at her. In a 35-0 ballgame at that. This was terrible enough but to top it off the coaches allowed the girl to re enter the game in the 4th quarter. I’m not sure who is in charge of any of it, but shame on them for not vetting their coaches. Shame on the coaches for not reinforcing how unsportsmanlike of an act it was.
