Island Aqua Park — Attraction in Margate City

I took four kids on Tuesday, 8/19. We signed up the day before for the opening slot at 11:15. The boys were ages 9, 9, 12 and 12. We arrived at 11:05 and there was AMPLE street parking (however, spots were limited when we left at 12:30). The kiddos did an hour on the park. The weather was great overcast, windy and ‘chilly’ - but they still had a fabulous time. The entire staff was friendly and polite…and the guards on the water park actually seemed to ENJOY kids (shocker, right?!) They were dabbing my kids up, encouraging them to do the thing and even helped launch my bigger kiddos on the blob. I loved how much space there was for non-participating adults to walk around to grab photos and such. And the huge shaded seating area is fab!

This was our first time here. We had a lot of fun. The only reason for 3 stars is because I didn't feel safe. One guard was behind a wall in the tower with head resting on blow up wall and he was buried in his cell phone. Another guard was talking to his girlfriend on his cell and the 3rd guard I caught doing crunches like using his tower as excerise equipment. What part of your job don't you understand. It's like they don't care about kids safety or the possibility of getting hurt! Was very disappointed in the way some of these guards...

THIS PLACE IS EPC! We have been to other inflatable water parks but this is by far the largest. The staff was super cool, attentive and professional. We were staying near by for our family reunion and came with a large group. Everyone had an amazing time! We even returned the next day with others from the group that couldn't come the first time. We hope to return again before the summer ends! Tip: wear water shoes for better grip, females wear shorts so you don't expose your goods and don't wear lotions or oils bc you will be slipping all...
