Margate Community Church — Attraction in Margate City

I am all the way from Washington Township, Gloucester County, NJ, about an hour from Margate. I frequently visit Ventnor/Margate area and was always intrigued by this beautiful building. As a world religions major and open-minded spiritual seeker, I was compelled to check it out. I was expecting one of those conservative Evangelical Churches that many of the "community churches" are in my area. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that this church, even though a Christian Church under the United Church of Christ and American Baptist, makes it relevant and welcoming to those of all faiths, even non-Christian ones. Their website says they value community over a rigid doctrine. I primarily go to a New Thought Spiritual Center in Collingswood, NJ, but I love hearing Rev. Vicki on Facebook Live. I will definitely visit in-person one Sunday. I have plans on moving to the area within the next few years, and I would love to be a part of this community in addition to my New Thought Spiritual Center. The world needs more churches like...
