My grandma just got out of the hospital, so my kids and I wanted to buy her some pretty flowers to brighten her day. We live over an hour away, so I looked for a local florist that could deliver, and picked Marion Flower Shop.
The first one I tried to order- the birdbath arrangement on the site- said it was no longer available. I asked the kids to help me pick out another one, and my son LOVED the flamingo planter. He thought it'd make his great grandma happy to see it, and I loved the bright colors and joyful feeling of the flower assortment, so we ordered it for delivery the next day.
What was delivered is not even close to what I ordered. I fully expected some variations and substitutions, but this is just unacceptable. There's no cute shaped vase, there's no brightness, there's no colorful assortment of beautiful flowers... it's a drab and monochrome basic bouquet; I count more pink carnations than any other flower, and the cheap ribbon around the cheap vase doesn't even match any of the colors in the rest of the presentation.
Grandma was happy with the flowers, so I've tried to tell myself it's fine, but really, it's not fine. If they couldn't deliver something even remotely similar to what I ordered, it should be marked "out of stock" or taken off the site. I feel very deceived.

ETA: After reading the passive aggressive response from the flower shop, I felt it necessary to add to my review. First thing, here's a screenshot from your website with the aforementioned "birdbath" arrangement.
Second, no I have not seen the assortment in person, as stated in my review I live over an hour away; I would think a business would have a fair and accurate representation of the products they offer on their own website. If what you actually have for sale is different than what you have advertised, that is a problem. If you have a photo of what the bouquet will actually look like, why haven't you put that on your site?
Third, I shouldn't have to call you to make it right; you are fully aware that what you sent out is absolutely nothing like you advertise. My responsibility is to let others know my experience with your business.
I am honestly appalled at this business' response to my review, and hope others see what they've written, and find another flower shop to do...

Very disappointing. If you didnât have the flowers you should have canceled the ordered.

EDIT: Response. I love the passive aggressive reply. Suggesting I have special request because I want what I paid for and you advertised. I find it comical this is ânot how it left your shopâ. I was not aware flowers could change colors. I did call the shop. There was no answer, I left a voicemail. Shirley called back and left a message. Was there no record of my voicemail in your call records?

She would sigh before every question i had for her, and when i asked her to elaborate on a question she would just restate the exact same previously asked question. it sounded as if i was repeatedly being put on hold mid conversation, and then she said âoop looks like weâre losing yaâ to be followed by the phone making a thump noise, clearly indicating she was done with the conversation and she just hung up. I called back to cancel said order and i got a snarky âSure thanks for callingâ that was very clearly passive aggressive. Her tone was very rude the entire call..
