This is a hidden gem. Been in the area for so many years but decided to explore the riverwalk. It is much better than I expected. It is surprising that they have such places in a small town. The nice broadwalk along the river is well shaded during hot summer and has beautiful views. You may use the paved path as a loop back to parking. Excellent place to watch birds, turtles, fishes, and many other wildlife as well as kayaking.

Do not let your kids run ahead of you There are holes and cracked planks, as well as uneven walkways with missing railings. Be careful where you step and keep your kids close or you might find yourself or your kids falling through into the river. Other than the bad pathways, it can be a peaceful walk under the shade of the trees and the rushing water.

Beautiful place! This place has a small dam and a wooden bridge. FYI- For anyone who is going to this place for the first time type in “Stuart’s landing” in Google maps. There is no boards mentioning “river walk”. I would return back to see this place in a different season! Recommended.

This would be a really great walk, but there are broken and missing boards in certain places along the path that pose a safety risk. I walk this with my family and I have small kids who could almost fit in some of the holes in the boardwalk. The brush and trees aren't taken care of very well either. Almost every year the brush starts growing over onto the boardwalk and isn't cut back. This past year the city went through and cut down branches and smaller trees and then just left all the mess there. It's just not taken care...

Me and the fam highly recommend walking the Marshall riverwalk and always make the trip to walk it when we're in the Marshall area. It's generally peaceful, unless they're doing concerts at Stuart's Landing, and it's a great place to fish or get in touch with nature. This last time we went we saw two Blue Herons, a muskrat, and some cedar waxwings. We are always impressed by the nature we find and the views of the waterfall, and you can't ask for better scenery in the city...

It's so peaceful to just be able to take a stroll down the River walk so many different ways to take, it never gets old. I'm grateful for such a nice and decent walkway to walk on. Sometimes, I don't even realize I'm in the middle of town. It brings out the bit of country still left in this country girl!! Have the best of both worlds! I couldn't ask for anything better. A BIIIG Thank You to all who helped make it happen....
