There is plenty to get into here at the park. There are two creeks where the river split into two sections. There is a two-track trail that is essentially a peninsula leading to the area where the river splits into two. Leading up to the split in the river There are two sets of steps leading to a couple decent fishing holes in the creek as well as a trail leading to the river. The skate park is OK but it used to be a ton better. There is also a pretty decent disk golf course and There is a small playground near the skate park. When you cross the bridge leading to the other side of the park you will find a Pavillion and a pretty big nice playground I think it's call child kingdom but it's pretty big. There is more trail along the river where it's not hard to spot town dear that have become accustomed to human interaction. There is another Pavillion on the south-west side of the park that has a fireplace in it that you can sometimes turn on woth a timer for 15 minutes at a time. Awesome little park for...
Read moreThe park is in our home town. It’s clean, but there is little rehabilitation of the children’s area. It’s a sad shell of its former self. Bereft of sand, broken equipment. Yet they built some pavilion towards the other end which seems like a spill over from the picnic area. Sadly priorities seem to be an issue. They even performed a repair of the bridge using signage for flooring. The skate park is also in dire need of rehabilitation. Still, it’s something to visit and take the kids. Nothing spectacular...

I just thought it would be nice to enjoy lunch with my wife there, and check out some of the changes that have taken place. It was a little nippy, otherwise it would've been more enjoyable.
