This 2.75 mile paved pedestrian / bicycle trail appears to be recently completed (previously gravel?), and my guess is it won't be "secluded" for long. It extends from the Maryland Heights Recreation Complex to Creve Coeur Park. But the true secluded aspect is a side trail (also paved) marked by signs reading "Nature Trail" which takes a sizable loop off the main bike trail. It follows the stream for the most part, and there are benches periodically. There is hardly any grade / incline, and the paved surface makes for easy walking. Most of the Nature Trail is in the woods, so it's a shady walk. Also, there are so many deer it's like waking through a game preserve. I saw about 20 in an hour. Side note: there is a second sign saying "Nature Trail," with a gravel trail. This is just a couple hundred feet that ends in a picnic area. Lastly, at the Rec Center (east end) there is not a parking lot at the trail head. It is an *unmarked* path at McKelvey Road and McKelvey Woods Court. Park at the Dogport nearby.

Google maps needs to catch up. The Fee Fee Greenway runs continuously from the Maryland Heights Recreation Complex at Aquaport to Creve Coeur Park. Great for cyclists wanting to avoid the narrow & dangerous Marine Ave. in & out of the lake area. If out & about early in the morning, watch out for deer! Granted it's only about 3 miles long. But again...it's SO much safer than Marine Ave. Thanks Great Rivers Greenway.

Very full of life and nature. We walked it pretty much from Maryland heights community center to Creve Coeur Lake. Beautiful trail and got to capture some deer pics!

A nice little paved trail, just under 3 miles long in one direction, connecting Creve Coeur Park and Aquaport. Built & maintained by the phenomenal Great Rivers Greenway project whose aim is to connect pretty much the entire metro area through existing municipal and county trails with other trails such as these. The long-term goal appears to be to connect this trail, as you head south/east from Aquaport along Fee Fee Creek, to another future Greenway that runs through the open space between Olive and Page, pretty much from 170 all the way out to the southern end of Creve Coeur Park.

Aquaport & the Community Center have more than ample free parking at the eastern end. Likewise, Creve Coeur Park has plenty of different places you can park to make the ride longer than 3 miles in one direction. We parked at the Eileen Pfeifer Shelter that's just west of where River Valley Dr crosses over 364, went through CC Park along the soccer complex and turned around at the end at Aquaport, totaling about 13.5 miles round-trip. The trail continues across the Missouri River to the Centennial Greenway which, as it's currently configured, would give you a round-trip of 21 miles or so.

I was expecting the ride with 141, industrial-type businesses, and train tracks nearby to be obnoxiously loud, but it was actually quite pleasant. Saw a few deer in the vicinity of Fee Fee Creek. It also looks like construction is underway on a nature trail that loops off the Greenway and closer to the creek in that area. I also appreciated the apparent dedication to use of planting native prairie species in the...
