For regular play, I absolutely recommend, but I would discourage people from booking a party. We've been longtime customers of Sky Zone and have always enjoyed patronizing this business, which is why we decided to host my child's birthday party there recently. This was, in my opinion, a large mistake.
The entire birthday party was a huge fiasco. I don't know if it was because the party was scheduled for a Saturday, or because it was a particularly busy jump day, but either way, the level of customer service was inexcusable. The party liaisons were unable to provide any sort of details or guidance about what to expect or where to go right at the start of the party; this lack of information continued throughout the rest of the party. Every single member of staff available was unable to provide any sort of guidance as to how the party was supposed to progress and we were really left to fend for ourselves.
When our jump time was done and our time in the party room was due, we were left to actually find staff to initiate that rather than the other way around. We were told that we would have someone checking on us every 15 minutes or so, but we were left on our own and had to seek out someone in order to find our birthday cake. The food and drink provided by the party package were more than adequate, however, and all of our attendees were quite happy with it.
Essentially, much of the poor service can be attributed to the fact that our party attendees were becoming increasingly more high as the evening progressed. By scent and by mien, it was very clear that they were smoking throughout the evening. I have absolutely no issue whatsoever with this, until it affects job performance. And clearly, this usage was affecting job performance severely, to the point where they became almost nonfunctional, almost unable to answer questions and were monosyllabic. This is not an exaggeration. It is such a disappointment because we were really quite excited to have booked a party here. I sincerely hope that what we experienced was an anomaly and others do not have the...
Read moreMy son just had his 8th Birthday party there on Friday 7/12. I had a Groupon but upgraded so we could bring in food. I was overall disappointed with the party. They didnt call to confirm, I had to call myself which in the past when we had a party they called twice to talk to me about the partyn. Our party host Brianna was not attentive nor great with people. The room was half way set up which you will see in the picture. She only put out plates. My party favor was cups for the kids and so I guess she assumed that I didnt want cups out, but most of the kids didnt want to drink out of the party favor because they wanted to decorate them. Also she didn't really help during the party. She asked if I wanted her to serve the pizza instead of just doing it. She said she would be back every 5 minutes, but came in maybe 3 times within the hour. We had to find napkins and cake plates on our own because she was no where to be found when the kids were eating. I did have to search for her to get us utensils, which they later ran out of in general. As far as skyzone goes, there was no supervision of the kids by staff within the park. There were so many employees all behind the counter talking, on their phones, and then a lot outside playing around. The supervisors are clearly also kids because they spent the 2 hours we were there doing this. When I went to pay Cayla/Kayla asked how my party host was, while the girl was there which was awkward. I wanted to say terrible, but that would have been rude. Definitely need a better way of asking about parties and the hosts instead of right in front of the hostess. Skyzone if you read this, you are wasting money paying these children they are barely working and someone will get hurt at some point. I will most likely not return here for a party. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars only because I did have a way different experience in May thus, other...
Read moreI visited this location on a Sunday afternoon. There were ample parking spaces. It wasn’t crowded at all. The person working at the front desk was kind and greeted me promptly.
Much of the equipment here is falling apart. Overdue for TLC. Holes in some nets, obstacle course is pretty torn up, some of the basketballs need to be retired, etc. In addition to equipment needing to be replaced/tended to, the place was pretty dirty. For it to have been such a quiet afternoon there, there wasn’t one staff member attempting to clean the trash off the obstacle course. Granted I imagine everyone working that day was under 18…
The place has so much potential.. but for the price you pay, the equipment definitely needs tending to and needs more frequent cleaning. I don’t think I’d come back to this location any time soon unless they addressed these things.
I think this might be ok for bigger children who understand how to play safely and can navigate broken equipment with more ease and creativity. Small adventurous children could also have fun here but I would be weary of bringing them on days where there is little to no adult staff working. I say this because there are rules posted that were being blatantly ignored by patrons and the young staff that was there, didn’t seem to care or even notice… which I think is a safety concern for small children.
Overall, it was ok. But no, I can’t imagine returning to this location any time soon. I’d like to check out other locations to see how they maintain their equipment and how engaged their staff is. I should’ve taken pictures of the trash and broken equipment to post here but I didn’t even think to.
If you’re in the area and your children are bored and just want something to do for 90 minutes (Standard pass) and you have $30 per person to spend, go for it (I think it’s $40 for an all day pass but I’m not sure). You can see current...
