I called the store at 10:30am PRIOR to them opening for business. Our company wanted to place a lunch order for a lunch meeting for 18 people for pick up at 12:15pm. I asked if I could email the DETAILED lunch order and if they would put the name on each bag to separate each order for easy distribution (Our CEO always tips extra for this gesture). The MANAGER told me and I quote "We are working on foot. We don't have time to check emails or respond to large orders by writing names on bags. What company is this of yours?" This is GRADE A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had already recorded each order for each employee in a form for easy reading and our CEO has a mandate that lunch orders be placed and received no later than 12pm. Thus, to late to pick a different venue and collect orders- so we were STUCK!! However, we will NOT order from here again! If you cant handle the volume of potential orders during lunch service......you should consider revamping. If you don't have time to check your emails - you shouldn't be the Manager Sir!! SO what you're saying is your company is making BANK, so when a company spends $300 for lunch orders, you do not need nor are you willing to accommodate your NEIBORING business because you're too lazy to write a name on a bag. OK- Duly Noted! I'll be certain to share this experience with our other branches and partnering companies!!! Once I shared this experience, the order dropped to 9! Now, I go into the store to place the order in person and what do you know, their registers pos systems have the ability to type names on the receipt and divide the orders within a larger order.....SO (smdh and lol ....I don't make this stuff up!) why weren't they wiling to put names as requested when they are equipped to do so??? I CANT- that's why a grade of 1star for customer service! Otherwise, I was impressed with the speed in which the order was completed with ACCURACY ( I was standing nearby to ensure all was well). The food was tasty and Fresh with the exception of the Potato Leek Soup which taste like it's made with a lot of vinegar...YUK- its not homemade soup-evidently- nor is it made from scratch!! The Roast Beef, Turkey and cod fish sandwich were DELICIOUS! All of the Executives enjoyed their meals!! Very Nice lunch prices! We might get lunches from there again- in the distant future! Do You agree or disagree with me??? Please leave...
Read moreThe food here is very good - although a couple things have happened that I am not crazy about. First the good - the service is usually friendly and upbeat with very pleasant people. Second, the sandwiches are wonderful. The bread is made in house and is so good - crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. you can also buy baguettes which are awesome too. the meats for the sandwiches are great - I have had the London Broil and it's excellent. The sandwich combinations are excellent - everything just goes together and tastes great - and is so fresh. They also have fresh soups every day. I had the gazpacho and it was so flavorful. Couple of things I was disappointed about - one, that the tuna salad has black pepper in it, quite a bit, and I do not like black pepper....so i ended up throwing away the sandwich away when I got home - wish they would not put so much pepper in it. Also, I do not like that they present you with a tip screen to choose a percentage tip when you check out with a card - really?? This is a carry out, and this is uncomfortable for me as a customer - please just increase your prices so that you can pay your staff appropriately without asking for tips...it's not a full service restaurant, and while I usually leave a small tip in the jar at such places, I dont want to be pressured about it. Lately I've avoided going back there bc this rubs me the wrong way - I haven't been back for many months- but the...
Read moreIt took a little convincing to get my husband to try this tucked away sandwich shop when we first moved to Columbia. He’s terrible at trying new things! In the end, we regretted the months we wasted not eating at Bon Fresco. The food is amazing. Trust me I've tried it all! We ate here close to three times a week and never tired of it. The staff is welcoming and made us feel like family. Food is lovingly created by employees who take great care and pride in the food that they prepare.
Make sure to try the London Broil Sandwich. It is perfection. It’s hard to try anything else on the menu, it's that good. Start there.
Chicken picante sandwich is the next sure bet. Yum!
Salads are awesome. Try their platter or their pick (2-4) toppings. The Cesar Salad with Chicken is also perfect.
Now we get to the best part! Their desserts and breads. Do not miss their chocolate croissants or cinnamon buns (the latter is available Fridays & Saturday’s if you get there early enough). Those are just my husband's favorites! I love the tarts and danishes. And I must not forget the bread. It's the star...
