Everyone in the area, should visit the United States naval academy. Admission is free, it's not hard to get in, and the place is filled with amazing history. There are museums and exhibits that I have yet to visit. Ladies and gentlemen, the United States Navy is the best Navy in the entire world. The reason we have free-trade all over the world and don't have to worry about pirates is our navy. This place churns out amazing officers with the highest morals in the world. Many foreign countries send their own naval officer candidates to study here.

If you get a chance to walk the grounds at the USNA, be sure to do it, and don’t miss a visit to the chapel! Especially if you can visit now in the summer of ‘21 - with the chapel copper dome roof replacement having been just completed, really amazing. Stop into Bancroft Hall also, where you get to see a sample of a dorm room and wonderful architecture and the stunning Memorial Hall.

Breathtaking chapel on the naval yard. If you have a chance to attend a wedding here -- take it! The pipe organ, stained glass, and traditional architecture added so much beauty to my friends' wedding ceremony. Before entry to the main chapel, we were in the waiting area which was the crypt of John Paul Jones -- an interesting marble rotunda full of history and artifacts.

My son and I visited the Naval Academy for a Boy Scout Function. What an incredible experience for both my son and I. The chapel is simply magnificent. The historic artifacts in the chapel and in the crept could take a day just learning about each item. Walking away with a strong sense of pride and respect for the United States Navel Academy and cadets.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Maxwell who is the organist at the chapel. He was practicing for a concert and showed me his skills, playing Chariots of Fire for my amusement. He played low and he played to the point where the ground shook. It was a wonderful experience and I would love to see a concert in the future.

My sister and her now husband got married, at the chapel on the base. I have never ever seen something so beautiful, I felt as though I was in a royal wedding. The base was beautiful and accommodating to people with disabilities. We took pictures in this beautiful garden on the base. I wish I could go back.

The United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland, is one of nine designated chapel spaces on the grounds of the United States Navy's service academy. Protestant and Catholic services are held there. The Brigade Chapel is a focal point of the Academy and the city of Annapolis.
