There is a Lions the Centennial pavilion that provides shelter with picnic tables. Tennis courts for those wanting to play a game with family & friends. A trail leads down from the ball field to Jennings Nature Park near 64th St., Northeast. Great for walking dogs along the paved path near a wildlife conservation area.
The demonstration garden is supported by master gardener volunteers in funding, entirely by donations from individuals, organizations, and local businesses. This community asset has more than 24 distinctive and ever-changing themed gardens, 50 trees, 800 roses, 100 shrubs children’s playground at the serene 2-acre site.

Read moreEaster Saturday at Jennings Park was fun. The egg hunt was cute for the 2 and under, though the prizes could've been a lot better. Nothing my son got he could eat and the big basket prizes seemed to have all gone to the older kids. But lots to do. 10k eggs. And Easter Bunny, but they don't take pictures for you so make sure your phone is charged. If you need a little less chaotic place to go after the hunt, there are two more parks attached to the main one. Even without the Easter celebration, this is a fun park.
