Listen. If I leave a review it’s for one of two reasons: You done messed up or you’re fantastic keep it up. This place done messed up. Big time. I’ve been nothing but cordial to people here even when it’s slow. Even when my drink was made wrong. I smiled and said I was sorry and I was patient because I’ve got a lot of empathy for service workers. Their jobs are hard.
However I’m done. After having my food thrown at me in the drive thru I had my drink made wrong (since I now have to check) so I told the individual. He stared at me a minute and asked for a new one. I apologized and said it’s just that I can’t drink what he gave me. He then proceeded to give me the right drink and yelled “Congrats on your free drink!” After waving me away without even a utensil for my food.
I understand the drive thru is hard and most folks have been ok but treating people without respect and any kind of courtesy especially after what Starbucks has been through seems beyond stupid. I’m tired of being treated like garbage here while trying to be polite and I’m tired of my order being...
Read moreI ordered a kids hot chocolate for my 6-year old from the drive through this afternoon. It didn’t feel hot to the touch (didn’t realize it was double-cupped) so I didn’t think to test the temperature before giving it to her. Also because as a former Starbucks barista, I knew that kids drinks were supposed to be steamed no hotter than 100 degrees.
She takes a sip and screamed that it was too hot, then cried some more because she spilled it on her stomach and legs when jerking the cup away from her mouth. I tried it myself, and it was SCALDING hot, even hotter than the drink I’d ordered for myself. I temped it myself when I got home. 50 minutes after the drink had been given to my child, it was 121 degrees. 20 degrees hotter than it should have been nearly an HOUR after the fact. I didn’t bother driving back to complain because I had a horrible experience the last time I drove back to this location asking for not one but two botched drinks to be remade. But you can bet that I reported this incident to corporate. Someone needs to be retrained,...
Read more(EDITED the stars today from an earlier visit, not today.) Wow, terrible experience. Walking into the lobby, I was able to use the restroom only to have a worker banging on the door midstream, announcing that the lobby was closed. Strange, the lobby door was unlocked, though. Coming out of the restroom, I announced that I had brought in some Starbucks garbage from the parking lot but was only met with a stern reiteration that the lobby was closed. You're welcome. She could have frosted all our drinks with the ice running through her veins. Off to the drive-through we go. Meh, the drinks were weak and lacking in substance. How much did we spend? Too much. What did we get? Nothing of value. What would I recommend? Going somewhere else, there are other places for coffee. Perhaps a bad day, surely poor management. If you don't have the staff, then just shut the whole store and lock the doors. Handling disappointment due to closure is easier than disappointment from a negative experience and money spent on a...
