It's been several years since my husband and I have been to Taste of Blount, back when it was downtown across from the old Sullivan's location. This was our first year attending since it's been moved to the Greenbelt area by the amphitheater... Wow!! Such a perfect setup!! So much more room to navigate the crowd, and move from one vendor to the next. Being able to park at Maryville First Baptist, and having policed traffic control were huge bonuses! A great overall experience... Already looking forward to Taste of...
Read moreAnnual food festival, A Taste of Blount at Greenbelt Park. Loaded with restaurants and food trucks. For an outdoor event the food was surprisingly fresh. Huge variety of food which made it a special event. So many desserts! Really can't improve on the food. All great. Suggest having more tables. And how about handing out the voter sheet as people exit? A little awkward carrying papers and food and drinks. Frisbee as a plate was a good idea. Did all the paper and plastics go to recycle?...
Read moreI am so thankful that Maryville places such importance on green space for their community. My family utilizes the parks and bike trails several times a week. We takes the kids to the play ground(s), ride our bikes or walk the scenic paved creek lined trails or just take a book and have a picnic. Depending on what section you are at, you can walk by the library, dog park; coffee shop or restaurants. Bathrooms are very basic and park is very well maintained. LOVE...
