Goodwill Massillon — Attraction in Massillon

Two things: The new 'discount' model was arrived at after "YEARS" of research at all levels of the organization....but NOT WITH THE CUSTOMERS! Serious misstep, as the customers are the ones doing the shopping. I'm not going to be forced to spend $30 to save five. If you only see two or three items you want that day, too bad for the customer?? Rethink this, and read the comments on all area Goodwill store for how poorly this new plan is regarded. As for people 'hiding' items to get the former discount when those colors are half price - so what? Was Goodwill really losing so much money on this practice? If someone needs a half-price used item so badly, you should charitably let it go. Or, here's a trick - have staff peruse the store, keeping it tidy, and putting those items back where they belong. You're cutting off your nose to spite your face. Now, something that you are doing well is playing the announcement about "no pets in the store". Amen to that. And for those whining that they 'can't be without their comfort animal' you people can stuff it. Literally. Get a stuffed animal for 'comfort'. Double bonus, you can take your stuffed animal on...

I will never shop at goodwill again!!! Everything they recieve is donated there is a difference between making a little profit and making millions of dollars !!!! They have raised there prices again!!! They claim they don't make the prices that a computer prices everything now but it takes a human to program those prices in the computer!!! A pair of cheap knock off shoes cost $17 just because there clean and not scuffed up or stained up that's ridiculous I can go to Walmart and get a brand new pair for that price!!! Not to mention anything name brand eben if its something thats been out of style for 10 years is going to cost you an arm and a leg !!! A Victoria secret shirt that was literally installed in 2015 was $10.99 just because it said pink on it !!!! These scam artists need shut down !!! I will take my bussiness to the thrift stores out in Berlin where u can get a shirt for $2 or $3 even if it is pink or Abercrombie!!! Regardless of the name these clothes are used by someone else...

Color of the week is gone. No point at shopping here. The higher ups are too money hungry for their own good. “The decision was hard to make” and they whine people would hide stuff because the staff fail to properly look for out of place things. The point of Thrift Stores are to help get things cheaper than at retail stores but that’s not happening.

Yet, they still sell half empty bottles of shampoo and things from the Bullseye section of Target that they couldn’t sell for more than what Target was originally selling them for.

This Goodwill has placed profit over people.

Also, the spend 30 save 5 deal is a joke if you’re spending 30 dollars at a thrift store you’re not...
